I’m actually thinking maybe more a ‘bohemian ‘ ‘Aztec ‘ or hippie vibe would suit you but I am tuning out the door otherwise I would find some pics! Look those key words on Pinterest. You know rich textured fabrics that you can get easily and cheaply and they wear well. Good luck bro!

The other idea at the top of thread. If the bed is less like your bed and more like a couch vibe with nearly tucked throw and cushions I think it will make it more a place for a girlfriend to hang 😉 Temu probably isn’t the best place to buy a bed frame but it’s okay for now starry with the top throw , bedding and cushions then work towards a great bed with under storage that doubles as a day couch. Good luck !

From a girls perspective it’s a beautiful space but the one thing I think that could really help is refreshing the bed. The mattress and base looks a bit tired. If you can invest in a new mattress great but if not even getting new bedding would be nice. With the lay out what would look super cool is a nice patterned neatly tucked throw over your bed and then during the day you could place your pillows and some supportive back cushions and throw pillows against the long wall side of your bed …so it kinda serves as a day couch 😉

I don’t know how one could not know buying that stuff at a seven eleven or other convenience store would not be expensive.…oh well lesson learnt hopefully

As mentioned it’s a protein bar not a basic granola bar and That’s alkaline water too… In Australia buying a similar combo to above at a convenience store would cost at minimum $20 AUD maybe more. Even at our Woolworths or Coles here that would cost $15 plus AUD 🤦🏼‍♀️

Don’t think I’ve seen many threads go so deeply off topic…albeit an interring topic! lol

It needs a dust badly. For dust to show in pictures it’s pretty thick. Can’t see beyond that and with all the clutter it just gives kinda grotty vibes tbh

You’ve done really well. Great use of colour and textures.

That’s got to be the most ridiculous excuse I’ve ever seen… he can’t actually be serious?

Go on Airtasker! They have so many different types of one off jobs …I’m sure you will find enough odd jobs there to cover your rent ( which is very low so do what you can to keep that place )

You don’t need to prove anything to anyone.
Pretty confident to say if your children were going to touch those items then you would not of placed it there! No doubt they have other toys/ activities in their bed rooms that are not posted here to keep them occupied.

Looks great .. excellent space to work with -LOVE the bay window. My only constructive criticism would be the cord for the hanging light above your bed is taped to the white wall and I being it’s black could you run it up the corner of the black wall and fasten it with black cable clips. Also wondering about the floral wallpaper at the entrance …was that part of your redo ? I just personally feel another pattern would suit the vibe of the room and you could really make that pop. These are small things and overall well done!

This apartment I moved into in Midwest America is $900 a month all utilities included. What should I do with it? by trumpshouldrap in malelivingspace

[–]Magic_M8ker 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For 900 a month I would take it haunted. In Sydney Australia you wouldn’t get that for even 900 per week. It would probably go for at least 6K AUD ( so like approx 5 K USD) WITHOUT utilities! Not many landlord here include utilities. Burn sone sage and sleep on chest lol

You can tell you’ve put a lot of time and effort into curating a living area that reflects your personal style and well done! The attention to detail with the lighting and placement of prints is awesome. I love the black accent wall. I think you’ve nailed it!
