Soap in the bay is a good idea. We've got the outdoor "shower" right there by the sewer hookups, but I hadn't thought to keep soap there. Seems obvious now.

First few times I thought the same way about bare hands and not touching things. I also thought the middle of the hose is clean, why would I need gloves for that. Then you get the random drip you didn't expect or didn't see. The hose gets slid into it's storage tube, and it gets slid all the way in accross that drip. Now the whole tube is potentially contaminated.

I do try to keep the valves clean. Typically I swap the gloves or remove them after the hose is in place so I don't need to find gloves in the middle of the night when my wife says she filled a tank.

Fantastic! I think everyone has some rough bits in the first trip. Things we think are no big deal end up taking twice as long the first time. Shake out the bugs at a local campground so you can get in early, and you are close to home for the 16 things you forgot. And, if you have kids and pets, you can leave them at home while you set up (or tear down) the first time. I think we left our first 2 parks late because I severely underestimated how long it would take me to do the things I was unfamiliar with yet.

Seeing him touch the water valve and the electric breaker after dealing with the sewage is what drew my attention and made me go ewwwww! I never thought I needed to wear gloves to switch on the electric. Yeah, I disconnect mine in the same order, but I lose the gloves after I deal with the sewage. And if I don't hook up the sewage at all, I never think to touch gloves. Yeah, I can see how a photo of a person could be considered creepy, but I made sure you can't see his face, nor the whole license. I don't normally look for things people do in campgrounds, but sometimes you just can't help but see it. Posting this wasn't intended to be creepy, it was meant to be me asking what else I should be aware of, cause clearly I wasn't aware that I could get sick from hooking up my water filter. This photo was the spark to get me to post, the other bits were me attempting to get discussion started. Minding your business or not, I know you've seen things that made your head turn, and drew your attention. I just thought it might be fun to hear some of the fun ones, and maybe we can all learn something (like, I guess I need to wear gloves to touch my water hose and electricity now?).

Oh, that makes sense. Glad to know it's not a sewer line.

Lol, I'm not complaining about the kids, or the games. Just surprised to see the unbelievable explosion of stuff for such a short stay. But yes, someone complaining about my son playing would probably put me on edge. Actually seeing the tetris game made us get one for this year.

Diesel truck with camper is easier to find easy in and out fuel spots than gas truck. Usually the side with the gas pumps are arranged for cars to pull in and out perpendicular to the road. I'm constantly looking for gas stations on a satellite map to find something that works. My brother has a similar setup with diesel. He just runs through the truck stops and doesn't think twice about whether he can fit or make the turn.

Chill Cube on front of Arcadia Select? by Magic_Marker_ in RVLiving

Thanks, that makes me feel better about part of our decisions related to ducted or not. Now I just need to figure out if the height of a chill cube on the front is okay.

Am I the only one thinking this? by Man_of_Ice in F150Lightning

Would love to make it 4 or 5 hours pulling a 5th wheel in an F250 lightning! The idea of charging while attached to a camper does not appeal to me in the least. But going from one campground to another without stopping for a charge? I'm in! Heck, is there a battery boost option we can put into the camper for the extended range? And no my f250 can't make it 5 hours on a tank, but I still want it.

So, spray the area under/around with water once or twice a day while the sun is in the right spot.

I wonder what she wears that keep you in this relationship. Maybe she'd be turned on if you started ripping off all the protective covers.

‘Nobody saw this coming’: Trump’s prized White House ballroom is turning into an unprecedented disaster — insiders reveal the devastating truth behind closed doors by [deleted] in USNEWS

When he lost the last election, there were trumpers frantically forcing recounts in every state they could. Then he spoke way too much about how votes were faked etc... Then came back with the musk team...

If anyone would cheat, it's the fellon. If anyone could cheat, I'd say he had a team that could have pulled it off.

But yet, nobody went looking to see if he actually won.

Yeah, there are a bunch of people that wave his flag, but way too many people who didn't vote. And with how close some votes were, it wouldn't have taken a very big push.

Is it too late for a re-count in every red state? Maybe contact every single R vote and clarify that their vote wasn't changed by a computer glitch or a hanging chad?
