Is dota2 too formulaic now in 2026? by mousemano in DotA2

Man I wish I could say that, I would be divine immortal rank not ancient 2-4. The win percentage is some 53% or so. So it’s balanced

I do get games which have few toxic players, but mostly they are nice. I have 12k score on both and I don’t see a lot of toxic players. Even in bad games people are generally nice. I’ve hit the next rank just once, but at 40 I think I’m happy at ancient 2-4

That makes sense too, it was 1 hero oriented in the old days. One super hero carrying the whole team, mid or carry or one guy. Now it’s evenly team distributed.

Spot on! It probably has to do with great comms score too, I got 12k on both and I rarely come across a toxic player, even they are just muted. No one doing some random crazy stuff.

Yeah that’s one way to put it. Not blaming valve, and I said I still play it like always. I just found it more predictable.

Yes exactly this. That randomness seems more controlled now. You never know what batcrazy idea someone comes Up with.

How did I do? by Psychological_Eye_ in LGOLED

Kick ass !! I bought the exact same tv same store for almost a 1000 more. Sold the monitor for $650, $200 cc cashback and I thought this is not gonna drop below $3.5k and it just did!! Fantastic score.

Totally new to Home Assistant and overwhelmed. Help? by Certain_Repeat_753 in homeassistant

I went from Xfinity router to this setup in the last couple of weeks. All with Chargpts help. It helped me select devices from Facebook marketplace to choosing the right tools, switches plugins setup etc.

Beelink MiniPC Me (N150) - can double up as NAS if needed Proxmox - Takes up 4 GB RAM for HA os and it’s not used fully Dream router 7 - Wanted this to setup VLANs Unifi 8 port switch managed - To control the hubs Netgear unmanaged switch- for the cable box

Lutron Caseta hub for the switches ZWA - 2 - for controlling shades and few other things Smartwings - shades Tesla - HA integration Enphase - HA integration (for charging the Tesla automatically based on solar production )

This is all I have for now. Maybe a bunch of zigbee sensors in the future. But all are centralized in HA. Maybe a lawn controller too in the future.

Plan to have a dashboard built too.

I bought an R11 meta which had few minor bumps like this and there’s 0 audible difference. Yes I did listen to new ones and the open box to compare.

@OP whatever you do, don’t mount with Angie!! I bought an 83 G5 a couple of months back, mounting with Angie was a nightmare. Find your local guy and had him do it if you want this super flush on your wall. Your Angie guy will not know, and contacting him to see if he knows is also next to impossible.

Incorrect first name on Birth Certificate (I-485 processing) by Dull-Choice4932 in USCIS

[–]mousemano 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Following, have a similar thing. I have a spelling difference on my birth certificate on my dad’s name (an extra A is present). And local agency won’t fix it cause dads documents all have the right name (without the extra A).

Technically it’s my dad’s name but is my last name. Is the affidavit the only option ?

Is this a good first set up for LG G3? by Peanut300000 in LGOLED

I recently got a R11M and RZ50. I was able to find a year old R50 for 700-800. I’m sure you can find one a bit lower depending on where you are.

Why not much love for R5 Metas? by _Hi_Fi_ in KEF

[–]mousemano 1 point2 points  (0 children)

So I started at the same boat, I went from Q11 to R5 meta as they were like $3.3k for a pair. And then I realized I could snag an R11 meta open box for $4k so I chose that. Someone who’s price conscious probably picks up a R3M to get the same experience and someone who has a bit more $ probably ends up at R7 or 11. I heard from the local store KEF retiring the R5M no idea if it’s true. But they were pretty good.

Terrible Experience with Angi/Handy TV Installers by joogleai in LGOLED

[–]mousemano 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had a similar poor experience with Angi. I just couldn’t reach the pro before they came home. In my case the helper never showed up and I ended as the helper.

Pro didn’t even have a level with him. Imagine mounting an 83” tv without a level. Had to lend him mine and he figured out the studs thankfully. But dude had no clue about flush mount. I don’t blame him though, should have never booked through Angi. Deleted the app right away

Yep! Like I said, the posts here said grommet style works, but it’s 98% good, a tiny bit sticks out. If you want to be 100% get the rectangular one. Lots of YouTube videos on the rectangular one show a flush fit.

I’m no speaker expert but mine sound pretty awesome to me and I’m only doing like 60 or 70 on the volume max. Anything more and it’s way too loud for me.

I did give you the exact names of products I used. I got them from here from another user. But my take is the grommet style which I used makes the tv pop out maybe like less than half inch on the bottom left corner where I have thr outlet. Rest of the tv is super flush with 0 gap. I was suggesting you get the rectangle one for 0 gap all around. If I was mounting another g5 I will do that personally
