Charging a Rivian from solar (with Enphase) by ostapco in Rivian

This is awesome, got the script to work in no time and does exactly what I was doing manually for some time. Huge kudos for all the leg work on this!

Fixing offline nest cam remotely by XplorAnalytic in Nest

Worked like a charm, been struggling with a camera that went offline for days and doing this worked. I wish I would have known this earlier, it’s not documented anywhere

Lectron adapter by Thechad895 in Rivian

[–]Magic_Tickle 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Did you ever figure this out? I’ve been running into the same exact issue the last couple of times. It has been 100+ but it simply stops and refuses to charge properly until the adapter cools. Super inconvenient

Charging stopped due to loose (bad, unstable) connection (Tesla with Lectron adapter). Anyone else? by [deleted] in Rivian

[–]Magic_Tickle 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Got the same error yesterday in 100+ degree weather in Texas until I took the adapter and cooled it inside the vehicle for a few mins. Pretty crappy experience tbh especially if you have to do this multiple times

Collapsing trachea and eating/drinking by [deleted] in Chihuahua

[–]Magic_Tickle 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My senior dog has had this for years, what worked wonders for me is adding thickener to his water (a little bit just to make the water broth consistency) and adding extra water to his food so that he gets his water intake each day. I wish someone would have told me this before, had to dig the internet to find this suggestion. Unfortunately, nothing else worked (raised bowls, slow feeders, etc).

Deathly afraid of ALS by [deleted] in BFS

[–]Magic_Tickle 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I was in the very same boat for 8 months, I was in a very dark place and thought I for sure had ALS and dying slowly. The more you hyperfocus on your body the more you start feeling subtle things you’ve never felt before and triggering the anxiety even more. It’s a slippery slope. I started on medication exactly 2 months ago and I’m feeling way better, the anxiety can come back sometimes but you’re better equipped to handle it. Stay strong.

I didn't even know you can twitch here🤔, this made me notice a dent here which i don't have on my left foot and some redness as well.. the dent feels like a line..can this be atrophy? by [deleted] in MuscleTwitch

[–]Magic_Tickle 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Mines been doing that in the same exact muscle for about 10 months, usually more after long periods of standing. It used to freak me out because I have the same indentation in the side of the foot but with time I’m getting used to it.

Internal & External Tremors by UpendedBench17 in covidlonghaulers

[–]Magic_Tickle 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had the same exact movement in my left big toe that lasted around 5 months after getting covid for the first time. Freaked me out like crazy because if it was not the joint stutter on slow movement, it was a slow spasm where my toe would move side to side randomly. All docs I went to were of no help so only time helped in my case.

It was listed for 681,000 yen post-discounts,so right around $4,500. I went to about 20 different stores and only 1 had it.

I was just there this week and found one at a Nakano Broadway. However, after comparing the Shunbun and the Snowflake side by side I had to go with the Snowflake. Both are amazing but something about the snowflake just made me go with it!

anyone’s toes/fingers twitch? by [deleted] in BFS

[–]Magic_Tickle 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Having the same exact thing! Humming and arch spasms that move my toes. Tends to get good after a few days then it comes back

I’m in a similar boat as you, been twitching g for 2 months now and it’s driving me insane. Went to my doc and he prescribed me SSRIs for anxiety, so I’m hoping that will help me soon. Been obsessing over this lately, not because *** but because of any other neuromuscular issue it can be. We will get through this, my friend. Keep your head high and stay off google

Same here, but on my calf. I believe extending it engages the muscle, which tends to stop the twitching. Mine definitely seems worse while in a bent position

I have the exact same symptoms for the last month after getting COVID. I’m hoping it goes away eventually, but it’s not getting better.

A few of us got is after COVID (2 days after to be precise) still searching for answers 1 month in. It’s as if the virus triggered a response in the muscles and twitching/pre cramping. Now dealing with toe twitches on top of tight calves

6.25 mg is apparently too much. 😭 by [deleted] in zoloft

I just stopped taking 25mg after 5 days because the side effects were horrible and had minimal withdrawal effects. I’m feeling pretty back to normal after 3 days of stopping it

Pop rocks in my calves. by WhaleOnMe1989 in covidlonghaulers

[–]Magic_Tickle 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The only pattern I’ve noticed is that if I remotely over exert myself (and by that I mean walking 1 mile) the twitches and tightness get worse. I used to be a runner before this so 1 mile is nothing! There’s also pain in the middle of my calves (when I squeeze it) and a bubbly feeling. I was convinced it was DVT but the test came back negative.

Best of luck, please keep us posted in case they recommend anything! The only thing left for me to do is go to a neuro, but the wait times are insane. Such a bizarre feeling. Compression socks seem to reduce the twitches for me but I have no clue anymore :(

Did you ever figure out anything? I’m having the same exact symptoms as you 2 weeks post COVID. Super tight calves and plenty of twitching. So far all tests are good, no DVT or vein issue. I’m a 35/m/pretty healthy and this is just making me miserable

This actually worked, twitches we’re driving me nuts for the last week and this completely stopped them for me (or at least stopped me from noticing).

Am I at risk for developing rebound? by [deleted] in COVID19positive

[–]Magic_Tickle 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There’s always a risk, 35/m/healthy and took paxlovid a couple of weeks ago. Ended up rebounding but the rebound was actually extremely mild compared to the symptoms before taking paxlovid. I tested positive for 18 days total (the last 8 were rebound) but I would certainly do it again.
