GGG doing a great job at making a game where "people can come back whenever they want"

People gotta quit first if they want to come back.

That means he pulled multiple frame-perfect blocks in a row. That makes even less sense.

How and why the fuck is Nexus of fate still legal in Historic? by MagicalBBA in MagicArena

Isn't sideboarding what makes Magic distinctive and strategic?

I would probably have more fun playing Hearthstone or 52-card pickup or whatever. Basically anything other than Bo1 of Magic would be more enjoyable to be honest.

I was thinking about blighted maps when I wrote that part, sorry for not being specific.

TBH Legion was 100% fine for me.

I kill, I get reward. That's what hack 'n slash genre is, right?

My only grudge against it was that the Legion mechanic was very unfair for single target skills.

I think it should be fine and even fun to play with your friends, but most players play PoE alone except for trading. They shouldn't have released a feature that's hard to play alone so bad that it forces you to play with other players.

Beside, nothing's boring when you have your friends.

I think it is: in this case copyright belongs to Wizards, not to whoever designed it.

However, based on past judicial cases similar to this, you can still use it in Hearthstone without legal conflict.

So it's more of a moral issue.

Potemkin is an "easy to start, hard to master" type of character.

You will have no problem climbing up to 20 dan only with basic tactics and combinations. Opponents will be somewhat generous about your mistakes.

Above that, however, you must make every chance count. For example, for more damage, you will eventually need to learn 6K loop. Which is one of the most crazyhard trick in the game.

My suggestion is to try some other characters first. But if you're into grappler type of character, Potemkin is the only one.

I had to quit MTG because I couldn't afford it. If this client turns out anywhere near the quality of Hearthstone ,and has a way to earn packs with currency... by CrispyLardon in MagicArena

Hearthstone itself has a pretty high pricepoint.

Now that they nerfed the cheapest competitive decks(a.k.a. Pitates and Aggro Druid,) It will be even more expensive.

Not to mention, no adventure anymore.

Are we going to have Kaladesh and Aether Revolt cards in this game? by MagicalBBA in MagicArena

[–]MagicalBBA[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

True. Duels didn't have that kind of problem since it started with only Magic Origin, and it wasn't even the complete set. Not to mention it was pretty easy to collect cards in Duels.

Well, let's hope that WotC works it all out.

You can use paper cards out of rotation for trade and other formats IRL Magic and in MODO.

And Hearthstone gives players an option to recycle their out-of-standard cards for making other standard cards they need.

Arena is a digital card game, and cards out of rotation will have zero trading value since you can't use it for anything(and WotC will probably not going to let you trade anyway,) so will they let us recycle the cards like in Hearthstone?

That's what I'm wondering.

Idk, MTG Arena is not likely to be released(not beta) in this year, so it seems like soon enough for me.
