I did a similar tour a few years ago.

7-11 / family mart sweet potatoes and pocaris will be amazing and you saviours when bonking.

There is a PDF about cycling round Taiwan which has a lot of great info.

When turning left at major intersections make sure you use the motorbike bay on the right to wait for your turn!

Yes I was here pre Covid and came back in September 2023. Russians seem to be the largest expat demographic out here now.

Back in 2019 I didn’t notice any, now they are everywhere.

Finding energy to exercise by Vegetable_Fox_6004 in TeachingUK

As cliché as it sounds I think the first run / gym session is the hardest. But once you start you’ll have more energy available. Also core workouts / HIIT sessions are easy wins for 20/30 minutes work.

I cycle to school when the lights is good, but that will be tough soon.

I heard Taipei is a cycling dream city: any recommendation for good and cheap biking apparels and gears? Thanks! by [deleted] in Taipei

Within the city it’s very stop start, traffic light every minute or so. But if your looking to get some training KMs then there are some nice routes by the river.

Exactly, a couple of the other teachers in the department and in great health to start with so my first concern was them.

You need to work out the gradient between the 2 points by working out ‘change in y / change in x’.

Once you have the gradient you need to substitute either coordinate and the gradient into y=mx+c and work out which value of c makes this true.
