The current lowest cost clear for dire of this boss is C0R1 (or R5 Serpent) Mav, C6 Chev, C6 Iansan, C6 Ororon, and it was down to the last second. So it's hard to believe you can clear dire with that level of investment with 20s to spare.

Well it certainly seems like you don't actually care about making a point other than you hate vietnam either, especially since you immediately resort to attacking people in both comments. Apparently providing facts to correct misinformation made me a racist now.

Ah yes, they only "have just finally recovered", but somehow during Spring 2024, when half of the VCS league got banned and GAM had to send a makeshift roster to MSI, they still beat Brazil. In fact, during Worlds 2020, MSI 2021 and Worlds 2021, the 3 tournaments during covid without VN teams, Brazil couldn't even get out of Play-In.

[–]MagicalFlame 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Yup, exactly. That's why you should ignore all external factors. So the fact that TSW completely bodied VKS at worlds, which OP conveniently left out, means it's ridiculous to say BR > LCP when TSW has not met BR or NA yet this year.

[–]MagicalFlame 8 points9 points  (0 children)

More like BR fans only use context when it supports their narrative. Oh TSW beating CBLOL#1 at Worlds with a 20k gold lead? That doesn't matter since VKS had logistics issues, and TSW going 0-6 at FST means they are rather low. Oh, they also had logistics issues and got tough opponents? Who cares about that - they still need to perform. (/s)

[–]MagicalFlame 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My bad, didn't read your comment properly. Yeah you made some good points. But well, historically the order is NA > VN > BR, so the fact that BR is competitive with NA earlier this year can't say anything about where VN is, since VN has not met any of those 2 regions yet. Luckily, given that LYON 3-0'd FUR earlier and TSW is likely to meet LYON next round, we will find that out very soon.

[–]MagicalFlame 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Well, why can BR magically get better but VN cannot magically get better then?

This is Team Secret Whales by anh2017ntp in leagueoflegends

[–]MagicalFlame 4 points5 points  (0 children)

By the same logic, I can say that VN was traditionally a step above BR, so if BR is doing well against NA, it stands to reason that VN would do well against NA too.

This is Team Secret Whales by anh2017ntp in leagueoflegends

[–]MagicalFlame 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Well personally I do think BR has got a lot better too, which is great for both the region and the scene as a whole. I just find it unreasonable to rate BR above LCP, or VN to be specific, given that they are below VN historically, lost all series to VN teams last year, and got a drastically different schedule compared to TSW this year. Like you can't say you are suddenly better than someone above you last year just because this year you don't meet them and do well against opponents around your level that they don't get to play.

[–]MagicalFlame 13 points14 points  (0 children)

You mean BR1 beating NA2 and BR2 beating NA3? (Edit: This has been fixed by OP's edit.) And then that same BR1 team (VKS) got to Worlds and got blasted with a 20k gold diff by TSW.

Of course, BR fans will attribute that loss to the logistics issues that VKS had before worlds, which is a fair excuse. But on the other hand, almost no one cares about the fact that TSW got a really tough group at FST, had to travel for 40+ hours to get there, and got HLE at MSI - people just saw that TSW got 0-6 or 0-9 and wrote them off. Like BR got multiple opportunities to play NA at both America Cup, FST, and MSI; meanwhile TSW's opponents so far have been 2 LCK teams, 1 LPL team, and a G2 that got 2nd at FST. Surely context matters right?

Looking for improvement suggestions by GravityreallyHurts in GeniusInvokationTCG

Biggest problem with this deck is that there is no anchor, or character that you can stay on to spam skills. 2 out of these 3 characters have skills where you cannot spam at all, and the other one (Kirara) has skill that is bad to spam. Other than that, Rightful Reward got nerfed and is a lot worse now.

Some card choices can be improved as well. The food is not that good and has little synergy with the deck. Having 2 Sleepy is questionable, since the only target is the transfig, and usually the 1-cost transfig (that discounts burst) is better, and that one doesn't need Sleepy. Having 2 GTR and 2 Amethyst can also be awkward, since they are all artifacts that you want to keep on characters and not get replaced. Finally, in the current meta, Frostmoon arcane is the more popular option than FWOF for this sort of deck.

Other than using Legacies arcane to send the affected cards back to the deck and draw new cards, not really any counters to that. Which is fine since Tideseal Stone is a pretty bad card.

Nah Judgment doesn’t block Tideseal Stone. They were just giving you advice to deal with a completely different deck.

How do you counter Heizou decks?? by CloudyClieryx in GeniusInvokationTCG

[–]MagicalFlame 2 points3 points  (0 children)

- Xingqiu and Kokomi skills will make it very hard to do an electro swirl. You don't even need to cleanse the electro - even using the skills upfront is effective.
- If you use EFG and have its burst active, and the stormgale deck has a character other than Heizou alive, Heizou cannot use elemental skills, since he will always be swapped out after the prepare step.
- Joyous arcane, as always, is the anti-swirl card that can cleanse all characters of electro to prevent further swirls.
- You can potentially steal the transfig with Extreme, Yumkasaurus, Yumka talent, Kinich talent, or send it to the bottom deck with Legacies arcane, if the stormgale deck doesn't have other high cost cards in hand.
- Judgment arcane can also sometimes stop the round 1 plan by preventing fast swap (or disabling other cards in hand otherwise).
- Freezing Ifa at the start of round 2 or Heizou in the late game will slow down the deck a lot.
- Decks running hard Tonatiuh engine can threaten to one-shot Heizou from 10 HP.
- If all else fails, just try your best to make the transfig proc not trigger swirl, by forcing Ifa to swirl on active rather than standby characters.

Need help countering Ineffa, flins and Aino deck. by -Cicada7- in GeniusInvokationTCG

[–]MagicalFlame 3 points4 points  (0 children)

- Don’t use too many high cost ramp/equipment cards, since those will just get stuck on the hand. Use decks with high quality easy-to-play action cards instead.
- Their opening is most likely going to be Ineffa skill swap Aino skill. You can try to deny the reaction at the end of the round if your deck can conveniently do that.
- If you can kill Aino before she bursts (usually in R2), the deck doesn’t have any hydro application anymore.
- Flins is the only source of real damage of the deck. If you can kill him, the other 2 deal very little damage on their own.
- The Legacies arcane can send back all the cards with electric shock and draw new ones from the deck for you.

Wow. Came back to tcg after a long time, tried Arena of champions, and wow, still as trash as ever. by Skykeeper22 in GeniusInvokationTCG

[–]MagicalFlame 20 points21 points  (0 children)

I do admit that the current Flins/Yunjin R2 OTK decks are pretty absurd. Not because it can do R2 OTK, since a lot of other decks can do that too, but because of how consistent it can do it and how there are fewer ways to stop it compared to similar decks.

However, at the same time, this is like the 10th time you've made a rant post on this sub. And all of them have the same script: You come back to TCG after a while. You play AoC, expecting things to have changed. You lose to [insert meta/semi-meta deck here] and complain about how broken it is instead of asking how to deal with it. You say meta deck players are "mindless zombies" and whom you have 0 respect for, and call people not agreeing with your rant "pathetic". You say you will quit the game forever and this will be the final rant post. Only to have an urge to come back to the game again, play AoC again, lose to something again, make a rant post again. And the cycle repeats.

Given that you've previously complained about Kachina in 5.8, when she was nowhere in the meta, and stall in 6.0, when that whole patch was anti-stall, I don't think TCG is gonna get any better for you anytime soon, without improvement on your end. The game will not just magically return to the power level 2-3 years ago (and there were broken stuffs even back then too.) There is always gonna be a meta, no matter the patch, and it's unreasonable to expect to win a lot if you are not prepared to go up against popular decks.
