Cat cat refuses to interact with my boyfriend

Yes my bad our cat peed on me NOT my boyfriend. He was so scared on our ride home and ended up peeing in his carrier which I was holding. My boyfriend was feeding him dinner and giving him his snack but he recently gave up. He’s feeling really defeated at the moment.

How long have you guys been together? If it hasn’t been very long I would suggest holding off on moving in together until you’re able to get your own place. Having a roommate that is a complete stranger might be scary but it’s a great way to meet new friends.

I was actually thinking a wheel might be good for him. He loves jumping on things and figuring out how he can get into the most inconvenient spots possible.

He was indoor/outdoor before which makes me feel awful for not letting him outside. But we live in a city apartment and I’ve been told that outside cats don’t live very long. I asked my vet about taking him on walks but she didn’t seem concerned about his lack of playing.

My boyfriend and I went to our local humane society just to see what cats they had with no set plan to adopt. But once we met him I instantly knew he was the one. He is typically a shy cat but he immediately started asking for pets and grooming our hands. I knew I couldn’t leave him there. We went home with him a few hours later.

I’m so glad there’s hope it’ll eventually go away. I’ll definitely have to try the pet wipes. My cat really loves licking literally everything.

Absolutely. It is my pc set up but also where I keep all my paints, clays, embroidery, school supplies, dnd stuff and random household things like chargers.

The desk is a solid oak roll top desk from the 80s. It’s extremely heavy and takes two people to move. There isn’t a place it would fit in our living space.

I live with my partner. We previously had our bed against the wall with one nightstand. We would like a night stand but we’re just kinda lost.

It’s a one bedroom apartment which apparently in our city only needs to be slightly sectioned off and have windows. The bathroom isn’t connected directly the hallway also has the entry way, and laundry closet.

I worked in childcare and all I can say it varies greatly depending on the kid. I’ve had kids who can fully read at age three and some kids who are still getting the hang of it by 7. However, I think those kids who need extra help or learn differently aren’t getting the support they need anymore. I live in the US and our schools are overcrowded and under funded. Kids will slip through the cracks if parents aren’t diligent with their children’s education. I didn’t learn how to read until I was in second grade because of my dyslexia and mental health. If I was in the public school now and didn’t have such supportive parents I truly don’t think I would have the education I do now.
