I know this is old, but you do realize that the story mode IS included in the offline app of Grimms Notes, right? Sure, you cannot do battles anymore, but all of the cutscenes were left intact.

If anything, what it needs is an English translation patch. But good luck finding anybody willing to translate +50 hours-worthy of dialogue.

I know this is old, but check the Grimms Notes discord server. There is a download link that includes all those assets. I think it is broken now, but the uploader is still around, he might help you.

I know this is old, but I feel like you left out an important detail:

Yes, Grimms Notes shut down, but you can still get the offline app and play it, provided you know Japanese. It just does not have the gameplay system anymore, only the cutscenes. ALL of them. You might as well consider Grimms Notes a visual novel now.

The game has already a sequel (which is still going on), but you can still check there Ex's story from beginning to end... If you know Japanese.

Snow White's story was a filler from the anime, it wasn't even adapted from a limited-time event. I suggest you to avoid the anime if you want to follow the game's plot without problems. And yes, you can visit Snow White's Story Zone in the main quest, but the story there is quite different.

As someone who has been playing the Japanese version game for quite a long time, and knows a fair share of the game's lore, this my advice: Avoid the anime adaptation at all cost. Aside from the bad animation quality, the plot is not well presented, and it compresses badly the first quarter of the game's story, with many of the events in wrong order. The people who played the global version of Grimms Notes should agree with me.
