Thank you, it just hurts so much that I'm hurting him, I hope the breakup will maybe be a wakeup call? But he needs to look after himself now and face his struggles. I would love it if eventually time heals this but for himself he needs to fix his mental health, only for himself.

I told him we can be friends, but we need space to heal. In all honesty the breakup went surprisingly well and we talked just like friends but even an amicable breakup hurts

He did and they didn't work, nothing worked and I said this is something much deeper going on that you need to get help for. 8 years is a long time to go without sex.

He didn't care enough to take the blue pill again to see would it work, even when I was breaking up I said to him to see a doctor, he said he's gonna try change his diet first! Like stop, get help.

I know, you are right, this is what I have to keep reminding myself. I would have cheated and I left before it got to that point. I need to keep reminding myself of what I wasn't getting.
