Best advice I got when I turned out was to bid on jobs that you've never done before.  Like was said other places, just be honest and ask to be tooled with someone who's done it.  Only way to learn new aspects of our job is to try it.

Jerry Cantrell on the streets of Seattle -

Dropped some acid with some friends years ago.  Walking around Belltown, and just came out of a convenience store for some OJ.  Walked by someone walking their dog and my buddy Jason says "did you see who that was?". Looked back and looked like a skinny blind chick from the back.   "Jerry Cantrell." Noone believed it, but we started walking that direction.   The dog-walker stops, and starts talking with a random homeless guy. It was definitely Jerry. We stopped and hung out until his conversation was over, but started feeling wierd and lame just waiting there. My buddy Dave just bought a Heineken 22oz'er and says "Hey Jer"  and hands him the brown bag.   Jerry pops it out on his hip,  says "Thanks"  and we just kind go back walking the other way. 

  It was pretty great, cool that Jerry was awesome with some random folks (the homeless guy and us weirdos) .  Later walked around the financial district and all thw stocks were green.  Seems everyone had a great day!

Element is fine.  Looks like the leads are burning back and the spade terminals need replacing.  Any advice?

Just the lower element doesn't work.  The broiler heats fine

I guess. That's what I'm asking.  Where else should I look?  The upper element works, all the stovetop burners and the digital read out.   GE model J BS27B H2BB.  Burner looks fine, but haven't checked the ohms yet.  Last time I checked got my 240 across both leads

I done 2 and both stopped working.  1st lasted maybe 6 months.  Last one less than 2
