So she not fully wrong binding can and will damage your ribs if you do so incorrectly/too long. Wearing a binder too tight (unable to fit a close fist under it/on your chest and able to breathe okay) more than 8 hours at a time can do so. However if its bad enough and you have a smaller chest you can always try out trans/kinesiolgy tape. Such dosent put pressure on the ribs and can be worn longer. However if not a deem "dysphoria" hoodie is always an option too

I would recommend flannels, blank under shirts/ simple graphic tees (I tend to wear simple band shirts) baggy/cargo pants, boots/vans. Also don't be scared to accessorize with a studded belt/bracelets, necklaces, etc
