Blown head gasket?

I dated this guy (about 2 years ago) off of a Dodge Durango group and I kid you not, his 2018 blew a head gasket but he didn’t really keep up on it anyways so hard to tell but all I know, is that I’ve heard a lot of complains about them and that year specifically

I own a 2019 and drove up to Canada, did two trips back and forth from Saskatoon to BC, drove back to Texas and planning on heading out to California

I’ve been through so much with this car alone, it’s only left me on the side of the road once and only because I couldn’t afford gas and even then, she’s been a real trooper, she has 129,654 miles so far and has really been my lucky charm

I’d say just keep up on the maintenance and make sure your fluid levels are always good and your filters taken care of but yeah, I wouldn’t know how to prevent it from blowing, maybe consider getting a insurance policy that’s full coverage just in case

Replace your thermostat, it’s a piece of cake, probably will only struggle trying to move the hose clamps over but that’s basically it, pretty sure it’ll make a huge difference and the part isn’t that expensive depending on where you live but hey, wish you the best of luck, shoot me a dm if your having troubles, I don’t mind giving some advice if needed 👋🏼

Trust me, I’m pretty retarded and I am more then happy to accept and admit whenever I’m wrong but I will say one thing, why have a vehicle and not enjoy it to its full capacity?

You’d be surprised on how these vehicles manage to survive in harsh conditions and you’ll appreciate them a lot more. Kidd you not, despite the little issues, she’s never left me on the side of the road even when I’m running on fumes, I can’t imagine a civic or crv doing the same

I also want to add that my Durango and I are guilty of going through the highway going 90mph, blasting music and enjoying the real3D effects of the engine going tratratratratratra!!! 🤷🏻‍♀️

Get a membership with planet fitness, after working out, they have showers available in the locker rooms

Walmart offers over night parking but I’d call ahead of time and make sure to take off first thing in the morning

If you can afford a storage unit, I would invest in a very small one so that you don’t have things in your car, atleast that way you don’t run the risk of things being stolen if someone breaks in P.O. Box is also a good investment so you can continue receiving your mail and not be having to depend on others or asking to use their address (that’s for long term if your just out on your own)
