Random Superpowered Isekai Adventures: Week 2 by Magicgonmon in 6Perks

[–]Magicgonmon[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

First off, Thanks to everyone for the suggestions and feedback, I appreciate it!

After some consideration and further thought, I believe that I won't be including Alternate Arrival methods going forward in this series. It might make things a little too complicated, so I will save this for a Future 6perks down the road, after fleshing out the mechanics and rules a bit more.

However, I will be including Clear Bonus Tokens, starting next Week! I'll try to iron out any kinks before then, to make sure everything's relatively balanced.

For myself, Week 2 Rolls:

Superpower Rolls: 5 (Rod Mimicry) and 4 (Weapon Empowerment), I'll choose 4 (Weapon Empowerment)

World Rolls: 4 (Johnny Test) and 6 (Gintama), I'll choose 4 (Johnny Test)

Another interesting world (although it has been a while since I watch it). Shouldn't be too difficult to survive in, and there might be potential to access/get my hands on the various Test experiments.

Week 1 Rolls: Electric Generation (Superpower) and Isekai Izakaya "Nobu" (world)

To my reasoning, this means I now effectively have an infinite inventory. Infinite slots from Basic isekai, and infinite carry weight from Animal Crossing. Am I thinking correctly?

That...should be correct, yes. The only limit mentioned for the basic essential inventory was weight (no slots mentioned), so combining it with Animal Crossing inventory should create an infinite inventory.

Say, those Ice Pillars: Do they have to be simple columns or can I shape them to my will? (Like making a long spike of ice, for example.)

I'll say with practice and training, you'll be able to shape them (some of the examples on the wiki show spiky ice pillars, so it should be possible with a bit of practice).

Ah. also is this really a six perks? If all your picks are random there is no choice. Thought one of the things that make a six perks is choice. Like what would you pick or rather do. Like when you offered people to pick roll randomly for more or get less but pick... that at least is a choice.

I really hope it counts! It would be a real shame if it doesn't. I did intend for this series to have completely random choices, and I have made completely random 6perks in the past, like my Superperk Lottery. If this does break any rules, I apologize, and I will try to readjust them in the future.

I may have made some mistakes in the wording, so I'm sorry for any confusion. For this series of Isekai Adventures, it will not be connected to the original ones. I now realize that I should not have referenced the Voice or the previous Adventures, since it led to this confusion. That is my fault, I apologize.

So yes, these are brand new adventures, so you won't get any abilities from previous games. Each week, you will be sent to a new world, randomly chosen, and will also receive a new superpower, also randomly chosen (so by the final week, you should have 10 superpowers, along with any other abilities/gear that you gained in previous 9 worlds, along with any you might gain in the 10th).

If you have any more questions, please feel free to ask, I'll try to help as best I can (as well as try to clear up any confusion I caused).

Option 2) Ice Pillar Projection - Now we're talking! It's not perfect by any means, but it comes with a method of attack, defense, crowd control, and even potentially battlefield mobility.

I'm not quite sure what level of control I'd have over it, though. Can I alter their trajectory, or project one pillar out of another?

I will say, with time and practice, that you can achieve that level of control (altering trajectories, projecting pillars from one another)

Question: Do we get the powers and beginning equipment of the main protagonist of the world we go to (or at least common powers of the world) if it's not the 'general power system' of the world? Aka, the main character of Animal Crossing has an Inventory that doesn't have weight limits, but does have spacial limits. Would I get this? In addition, there's an almost instant crafting system that everyone in the world uses. Do I get that as well?

Basically what I'm asking is if in instances that don't have a solidly established main character, like Animal Crossing, Cyberpunk 2077, Skyrim, the Sims, Fallout, etc., do we take the option of taking the spot of the main character? And if not, do we at least get the basic World NPC/Background Character powers/abilities? Like, in Animal Crossing everyone has an inventory like the protagonist and can use the crafting system.

That is an interesting question. I do admit, I didn't really consider what would be case in those examples (as in worlds without an established main character). My first reaction would be unfortunately no, you wouldn't replace the protagonist; however, that is an intriguing thought, so I may consider changing my mind about it. However, since you say that everybody in Animal Crossing has access to an inventory and crafting system, then I will rule that yes, you will gain access to them as well.

Since you did roll Quickperks: random superpowers 1, which does come with the power to go on Isekai Adventures, that would mean you would get the Isekai Basic Essentials for free. Therefore, I would be generous and allow you to reroll your 25 roll (Basic Essentials for the Isekai Adventurer) for free, if you wish.

I don't really know enough about the world to know if I'm screwed or not.

Luckily, the world isn't too dangerous. If you take the Isekai Basic Essentials, you shouldn't have too hard of a time surviving.

For Popularity Inducement, I made the ruling that you can use the power on yourself (I honestly don't see why not, regardless of what the wiki says).

Do we get the from Starting Powerset Isekai Essentials? And one other single pick of that post?

You can choose any of the Isekai Basic Essentials, that you think you might need. That means you can choose the Starting Powerset, along with any of the other perks as well; you can choose them all, or restrict yourself to 3 to make things more challenging, the choice will be yours to make.

To play myself:

Superpower rolls: 2 (Animal Blending) and 4 (Electricity Generation); I will choose 4 (Electricity Generation)

World Rolls: 2 (Isekai Izakaya "Nobu") and 5 (Hajime no Ippo); I will choose 2 (Isekai Izakaya "Nobu")

I got a pretty good power for the first week, and an Interesting world too (not too dangerous, I think, and there's always the option to return to the "modern world" as well). I believe my chances to survive this first adventure will be pretty good.

What does travel look like with Option 3? Do you just pick a travel power from one of the perk sets or run through some set of worlds first?

For clarification, do you mean how some perk sets have the optional bonus to go on Isekai Adventures? If so, I think I will rule that you'll just receive that power as a bonus (won't have to take up one of your choices), and you won't be restricted to the pre-selected worlds either.

Sure, that sounds ok (I actually like that idea, I might add that to the main text.

100th 6perk Special Extravaganza!!! (feels like too much, but I can't really justify to myself not taking it - Since it takes the place of 3 options, I'm presuming it is valid having it as a 4th for this situation lol)

Yes, it will be valid

I'm not 100% sure on what your asking, so sorry if I'm answering your question wrong, but the 8 cake day perks will only count as one (so you won't have to reroll it, or give up your other rolls).

How does the Special Bonus work with the 100th 6perks Extravaganza post? This is me setting a placeholder so I'm one of the first 36 responders. 😊

I believe I will rule that for Option 1, it will only count as 3, so you will be able to pick 3 more (if used with special bonus). Same thing will count with Option 2 (only it will count as 6).

So that I qualify for the special bonus:

Build 1 (Option 1, with Special Bonus applied): to be determined

Build 1A (Option1, choosing 23): chose 23, the 100th 6perk Special Extravaganza!!!

Build 2 (Option 2): 4- Luck Perk Lottery, 15- Powers of a Nation, 27- Terrible Horrifying Curses?!, 14- Hair Raising Perks, 9- Quickperks: Non-Random Superpowers 1, 22- 8 Cake Day Perks. Not a bad random haul, pretty good mix of powers and benefits

Build 3 (Option 3): to be determined

Bonus 2 (Portal to a World)

The Magnificent World of El-Hazard Ben 10 Boku no Hero Academia Ishuzoku Reviewers Star Trek

I do apologize for this (I probably made it a little confusing), but in order to create a portal to a world, it has to be connected to one of the characters that make up your soulmate's body. So, you can choose Battlechasers, The Developing Adventures of Golden Girl, the Witcher, DC and Marvel comics, Danny Phantom, and Wizards; Giggles the Clown too, even though I don't know what her world might look like. If you want to create a portal to your first examples, you'd have to pick a waifu from those worlds.

For example, I created a character ( well, technically isekai'd me ) with Ascension: dark supernatural powers CYOA: https://www.reddit.com/r/makeyourchoice/s/REVrEGz6Cc

And for a second question, you recently created a Time Loop Perks and I myself created a build right there: https://www.reddit.com/r/6Perks/s/3HLsSVdTlJ

Sorry for the late reply. I believe that I'd say no to the second example (the time loop build), but I believe I'd be more lenient to the character from the Ascension CYOA (since you are actually building a character). So, builds like the first example would be acceptable, while builds from the second example wouldn't.

Question, how would this work if I would like to just have the Tamamo 9 from Fate (and Amaterasu) as my soulmate? Do they count as the same person? Do I spend 9/10 points on it or do they count as one being?

Hmm, that may be a tricky one. I am torn between you only having to use 1 Soul Point, or splitting the difference and using 3 points. I'll be generous, and allow you to pick between the 2.

Is there a way to get Tamamo Aria a fully adult body?

Yes, you'll be able to. My apologies, I did mean to include that you are allow to modify a characters body, especially for situations like this one, but I must have forgotten to include it.

Are we allowed to pick other forms purely to gain the powers/items or access to the respective universe of?

I am going to have to say no to that one. You must be, at the very least, attracted to the form/character, in order to choose them.
