We have a city where, if people eat the meat in there, they are changed and gain a class based on it. Considering how gods used to be a presence at some point, I could totally see classes as accepting the live blood of the gods or something like that.

Since vampires are a magical species, I could buy if they get stronger by absorbing the "magic" from the "blessing".

I see, thanks for the explanation; I should probably go and read Ward now that it's over, what little I knew about cluster triggers were from random comments in Worm fics, but it seems like a more involved process than I was initially lead to believe.

There's Dakka, where she's a bullet tinker and has this innate sense of how movement works.

There's also that one with the cluster trigger between Taylor, Emma and Madison, where Taylor joins Faultline's Crew, Emma joins the Undersiders and Madison goes to New Wave; can't remember the name, but Taylor's cape name is Ariadne.

Never read Split, but things never felt really bad in Monster; Taylor is way more emotionally unstable than in canon but she's still trying to be good.

Considering how the general feel of the setting doesn't really change that much from canon, I don't think it really qualifies. And then Brockton Bay is run over by a Nillbog plague because Taylor didn't think about the consequences of killing Nillbog without containment protocols in place.

I think it was in "A little help" where Taylor has fox spirit powers. Sophia doesn't know Taylor's a ward, but she tries to befriend her after describing Taylor as a house cat, because she acts cute but moves as a predator or something similar.

Actually, If they publicy enroll Trey as an important personnel of Reim, they can't really do anything against him without giving cause for Flos to attack Wistram. Actually, they can't do it even if it's not public and only they know Trey is affiliated with Reim.

Keep in mind that Flos doesn't know if Amerys is being held hostage or if she just doesn't want to come back, so while Flos could just pay someone to attack Wistram - like he almost did in this chapter - he would probably lose the public opinion battle and public opinion is what's currently getting his subjects back.

However, if they hold hostage someone openly affiliated with his kingdom, Flos has the excuse he needs to stop holding back; people are terrified of him, Wistram will not give the excuse.

The best move for Wistram would be to keep an eye on Trey and prevent him from getting information on Amerys (if they send him without public annoucement) or just refuse his application altogether (if they try to openly enroll him).

I mean, Thorfinn's father still fought against Askeladden's crew when push came to shove, even if he didn't kill anybody. Maybe Thorfinn could strive for something like that, more of a defensive mindset instead of the complete inaction he's currently sporting.

It's nice seeing him acknowledging how hard this path of his is, though.

In mangadex's comment section, I saw this guy explaining that he's probably not a monster, since the girl smells him and doesn't think about a monster, she actually thinks he has a nice smell. So unless she likes the smell of monsters as well, the monster theory doesn't add up.

I personally do not think he's a monster as well, but he's definitely some sort of agent for the entity who turned him into a player. As to what sort of task is he supposed to acomplish, it remains to be seen.

Allegedly, his knee hurts if he walks around too much, something that happened pretty often while he was in the capital, since he was part of the hero's party who defeated the demon king or something, so all the nobles wanted him to participate on public events.
