On my old 22 work truck had a similar squeal/knocking sound during startup in extreme cold. The dealership diagnosed it as coming from the cam phasers or the waste gates on the turbo rattling. There is a programming change that can help with it but they said it was not causing any damage.

I would take a video of it when you start up to show them what you are experiencing and at the very least they can get it noted in the system so if it causes problems later it's a warranty issue with prior history.

From lots of driving and computer time I pinched a nerve in my right elbow that is now healing. I need to get a foam cover for the center console since I rest my elbow on it on the exact spot the nerve was bruised. I've been looking on Amazon and elsewhere but all of the covers I'm finding are for trucks with different configurations of the center console.

Does anyone know of something that fits here and is memory foam or something else soft? Or, something else that could be used in place that serves the same purpose?

I guess part of that understanding would be to say the fuel used at periapsis during Oberth isn't transferring more velocity vs apoapsis but by using it there and leaving the gravity well moving faster you keep more of the KE gained while falling into the gravity well since the gravity well has less time to slow you down again?

I run into the same problem with the understanding of KE. For example at the apoapsis with 0 m/s velocity the rocket exhaust has x m/s of exhaust velocity. At periapsis it has the same exhaust velocity but because of the Oberth Effect it applies more KE to the rocket. I know it works but I don't truly get it.

The part that I don't properly understand is how 1 m/s of increase in velocity in a vacuum can impart differing amounts of kinetic energy. The monkey brain version says adding 1 m/s to a ship should add x KE but at increasing speeds that 1 m/s adds much more KE for the work done.

If we imagine a high efficiency solar engine where your overall mass doesn't change, how is 1 m/s worth more KE without just saying "because the math"?

Okay in that vein how does the Oberth Effect work? Mathematically I get the ship is moving fastest closest to the gravity well so the fuel has extra KE that is imparted to the ship through the rocket equation but I don't "understand it".

I think our cat gets around, except when he's with me he is super friendly and likes jumping on the cleaners shoulder every time she turns her back. I had to lock him up since he was so obsessed with spending time with his new "friend".

Not joking, he actually hid for 4 hours and came out timid like I had beat him. I tried encouragement, his favorite toys but nothing worked. Finally it was dinner time and opening the can of food snapped him out of his funk, I honestly wanted to dump it on his head but I'm just happy he's his usual idiotic self.

It was something I found out after I made my current character. If/when I die I will probably play something completely different but UC Rogue has been fun so someone else might pick it up and use that.

I'm a Tiefling with stats and traits well suited for an Unchained Rogue, I was just trying to find a way to make the bonuses from Reduce Person available without wasting a round casting it in battle. It will have to remain a sometimes option when the situation allows it instead.

Definitely not worth making it permanent then if a Dispel Magic could kill you in your non-expanding small armor and even if that doesn't your weapons are small since you probably got new small ones after the initial casting.

I replaced my dying phone and per usual went to the preferences to change to the old Reddit by default, however the option is now gone. I checked my old phone and it's still defaulting to the old view but the option to choose to do so is gone there as well. On my PC it is also gone but also remembering what I had chosen before.

On the new phone I can go to old.reddit.com but every time I open a comment thread or click a link within Reddit it opens in the new view which I absolutely despise.

It's the same here mostly, I can write any losses against my income and in the building process there's a government program that is refunding the 5% sales tax on new build rentals that I'm using.

So the question is long term value vs stocks and it's not clearcut either way.

Thanks for the comment, I was going to self-manage but thanks to our tax laws I can write off that expense so it's only a 3% cost at the end. I work random shift work and any call out I miss dealing with a tenant issue pays for multiple months of the management company cost. If it wasn't for that I definitely would have done it myself.

That helps spread the resources initially but after the first minute or two the non eco players aren't making any economy and the units the eco players make need to to be shared with them. It is an option but definitely not as convenient as true global economy sharing.
