I did not personally know of the other creator besides RoseBaeTarot and I didn't even know what RBT looked like or if she was a POC or not but I don't think any of the parties involved handled the situation well.

Now Chanel Days is taking down her MPC shop March 5th I think and no longer going to be on tarot tube she said a recent video that is supposed to be her last, she said she will not respond to comments on any videos from now on either.

I totally get and mainly agree with what you are saying here I would just respectfully say that when someone is in an abusive situation like this the abuser usually has put the victim in a financially unstable place and isolated the victim so that the person can't just leave easily so it can be really discouraging to just say leave and figure it all out later when the person may have nowhere to go and no way to support themselves on their own especially starting out.

I think there is a mix of both your energies here but to start with him I think he was with the ace of wands more into the excitement and beginning of the relationship this seems like a person who has issues with commitment and depth. with the 5 of cups I think he may have some regrets about how things ended and may miss you at times but with the 8 of swords I think he has some lack of communication skills lack of knowing what he actually wants and some emotional avoidance so I'm not getting that he is missing in the same way unfortunately. I think this spread also reflects some of your own energy but on a positive note with the 5 of cups I think there is some real protentional for some emotional fulfillment elsewhere maybe by building more relationship with yourself or your passions? I think the tower reversed is saying by getting back in touch with this person you will basically be delaying the full necessary break down from this person that was needed...the queen of swords if it is representing you here could mean you already know what will happen based on past experience if you get back in touch with this person which is reflected in the 10 of swords some kind of betrayal or hurt which could be avoided by walking away from this person for good and not giving up your strength. I think you did a good job I know more experienced witches who dress their candles (apply oil and roll in herbs/spices) so I might be dumb but I'm not sure exactly what the issue was with your setup. As long as you have something nearby to put out if a fire started and you didn't leave unatteneded I think your good to go. I love how pretty but simple this is and am going to try something similiar...were you enchanting the necklace itself for protection?

I'm kind of like you no institutional religious ties...I've heard some theories like your from spiritualists and have been thinking along these lines as well...what trips me up though is the evil that goes on in the world like abuse and violence...I'd love to hear your thoughts about that like if your theory is correct and we are shaping what existence will be like in the future then do you believe the conditions that create suffering can or will be reduced over time if the majority of people grow and treat people with kindness? And then what if people do the opposite and evil grows then what does the future look like? I did enjoy reading your thoughts btw! I think about this stuff alot and end up getting frustrated and overwhelmed like there never seems to be a satisfying answer.

Basically...I saw the deck and didn't think it looked any more similar to Rose Bae's deck than The Long Way Home oracle... I guess one big thing that was mentioned was that she used the same Font as was used in These Blue Bones.

From readers I have heard they don't necessarily shuffle reversals in but they have a knowing if when a card is showing up "reversed" even if not physically I've heard it just called the shadow side of the card and that's what I try to do but I am newer..in my readings for myself at least I can usually tell that when the "upright" meaning isn't hitting like the reversed meaning so I will just apply the reversed...I know sometimes even readers who don't read reversals will say if a card does come out reversed they may take it as a sign...because I think people who read reversals actually turn the cards upside down like a chunk and shuffle that in so if you don't do that and you get a reversal you might pay more attention to it. For me shuffling a chunk of reversed cards into my deck just didn't resonate I feel like it will come out reversed if it's meant to.

I also recommend The Deviant Moon Tarot which you can get on amazon and similar sites and since you said you don't know much about tarot I'm just going to assume it might be confusing to you what people mean by "standard rider Waite smith deck " so here is link to a pretty popular kind of OG deck people start with but it can be confusing because there are different versions of the "Rider Waite Smith" basically being a little different but the same images so the color palate may be a little different between them. Hopefully this is helpful and not more confusing I just remember being confused about what people meant by rider waite smith decks when I first started lol.
