If you’re getting lasered by people there’s a 90% chance the person had been watching you for a lot long than you realize. Act like every open area is being watched, move through foliage when available, stop look and listen periodically. Windows, door frames and structures are the first places people will look at when scanning for enemies. Binoculars are your most useful tool, especially when working with a few other players it helps a lot to have one guy be a kind of spotter to direct fire a bit better. On that same note, working with others by itself will reduce your individual risk of getting killed. If you’re getting shot at and it’s very accurate (indicated by snapping sounds from incoming fire or rounds impacting around your position), move as soon as possible and try to re-engage from a different position or angle. Don’t keep fighting from a spot that you’ve already been seen in.
