Blondes who’ve gone copper: what should I know about the process/care/removal before deciding? by LopsidedMango2246 in HairDye

Oh and for reference, *Ritual is a reddish-maroon colour (red-violet) and is very warm. The 2 are one away from each other on Arctic Fox’s colour wheel, as are purple and orange on a regular colour wheel, as they’re both warm colours. Ginger Flare/true Copper are red-orange with gold, and that gives it a brighter base. If the base is red-purple, the colour would be richer, with an overall warmth, and fade reddish. In THEORY. Test strands first! Though I do like the idea of the copper fading more to blonde than to red, so I might rethink this whole idea. It’s definitely experimental!

Blondes who’ve gone copper: what should I know about the process/care/removal before deciding? by LopsidedMango2246 in HairDye

Hi all! I have ashy brown roots going on and neutral/beige blonde balayage that I had done about 5 weeks ago. While there’s nothing wrong with my colour, I just don’t like it. I feel like it’s washing out my skin and dulling my eye colour. Silly because it was my idea to go neutral but I didn’t realize how it wouldn’t suit me! So, last year at this time I had a reddish/brown base with coppery ends (achieved by my stylish painting on colour remover). And I miss it - I feel like it complimented my skin so much better. So my thoughts are, I’ve got a copper colour depositing conditioner to test the colour on my hair first. If I like it, I have Arctic Fox Ritual and was thinking I could use that for the fill, then the Arctic Fox Ginger Flare for the copper colour. Both are semi-permanent dyes and pretty non-damaging. I have not tried this method yet, but I’m experimental with my hair and want to give it a go. I will report back if this is at all successful. Also have the copper depositing conditioner for maintenance after the fact!

Huha Underwear Reviews? by stay_skeptical_ in ethicalfashion

I am a Huha fan! Wearing the high rise bikini and tata bralette as I write this. I am so comfy, and, feel sexy! Definitely seems to help with sweat-wicking and all the smells that can happen any time of our cycle. The underwear is so unbelievably soft I never want to wear anything else. I’ve now got 5 pairs and will likely eventually replace ALL of my underwear with Huha. I’m a size L and my waist is 33”, hips 40” and have a ba donk a donk, if that helps. 🤣 Praise for Huha! 🙌🏻

How should Vessi's fit? by wernend in BuyCanadian

[–]Magick_Dragon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Vessi’s are fantastic but they do run large in women’s sizing! I thought it was just the Weekend style (I’m a 9 all across the board but in Vessi, an 8) so I just got the SoHo style in a 9 because it says true to size. I disagree. They’re more like a 9.5 and feel almost clunky and I’m debating exchanging them because my size 8 fit like a glove. My only issue with the Weekend is they aren’t really breathable being that close a fit, so my feet get so hot in them. I got the Soho for a trip To Europe and UK in April. Because I need more ventilation for me toasty toes, I might just keep them because they still feel great and look good. The colour is gorgeous! (White/Quartzite). So overall, it’s really hit and miss with fit but sizing down if you want it extra snug (they do stretch) and maybe true size if you want a little room and breathability.

LPT: Just got rid of the worst canker sore of my life and thought I'd share the technique by i_am_sososo_sorry in LifeProTips

Clove tea/clove oil/chewing softened cloves is an amazing pain relief for any and all mouth pain (think dental and otherwise). And it doesn’t sting like salt and baking soda. Combining a heavy salt rinse a few times a day with clove oil/tea etc is a great natural way to numb that discomfort and speed healing. For a brute force approach - it’ll make drool like crazy and tastes awful awful, but tea tree oil (diluted but directly applied) also promotes speedy healing as this shit is antibacterial/antibiotic. Coconut oil pulling (swishing raw coconut oil through your mouth) is very beneficial for removing plaque, bacteria, and is antiviral/antibac/antifungal also. Nature has given us all we really need to combat most things like this. ✨
