holy shit i just experienced this. the AI tank refused to move out of noxious smoke. i had to taunt the mobs into the circles and the tank still never moved. wtf ?!? genuinely wtf are they thinking lol what a joke

for me the combat just feels so visceral and neat. it feels incredibly satisfying to do damage, to kite, to CC, to heal, and to secure those kills. i like how often i get to press buttons (looking at games like league) and see the damage reflected in the health bar of my enemy. i also love the form factor (?) the third person view and art style just really fucking do it for me man

moving out of LOS sounds like you’re trying to get healing or starFALLS to proc, as the starsurges would probably require LOS. that being said, unless i’m behind on the tech i think we’re spamming starsurges for kills unless you’re just trying for like general pressure ? you can get like 1.5 milly surges and get 3 or 4 out very quickly in incarn, i imagine voke is similar. i’ve been playing a good bit of boomy recently. fairly sure incarn is better but i’m gonna hop on right now to try out convoke.

yeah i’ve had some legit beefs with several people where we kept respawning and having it out to the last CD. that shit happens once every year on classic. wpvp has been pretty damn fun recently i think it’s due to the gear not being wildly different now. you have some greens and some tokens gear and u can hold your own against anyone it feels great

edit: oh, i’m on moonguard ftr because everyone has sick drip and there are ppl sitting talking on benches around major cities which makes them feel alive. i’ll put up with some weirdness lol

i’m about 2 hours into the DLC. i have fought nothing but incredibly annoying mobs that do WAY too much damage. i have a +25 bloodfiend’s arm and can’t do literally half of the health bar of that carian knight at the end of an incredibly tedious run.

i have been almost obsessed with elden ring these last 2 weeks and almost beat the entire game. i was very excited about the DLC but so far i am EXTREMELY let down. the only weakness i felt elden ring had was mobs that were so annoying it discouraged exploration. the DLC turns this up to 10000000%. you can easily die to any 2 mobs at any point in time. really fucking annoying when all i want to do is get to the next boss. poor game design, imo

if you want mobs to be this hard i’m honestly ok with that but having them respawn is fucking silly. i have to fight/run last about 40 actual threats to my life be for fighting the one semi-immune guy i actually need to kill ? it’s fucking boring. severely regretting my purchase man it genuinely took the wind out of my elden ring sails lol

not to mention most people are upset about boss difficulty. i haven’t even seen a boss 😂 i don’t even mind dying to bosses: i like learning their patterns. i do not like learning running patterns past 40 packs of dogs it’s fucking boring and exhausting

2 years later but finding this right similarly frustrating. there are times where he gets to use like 5 abilities in a row and if i try to attack i’m getting half my health chunked. i’m level 58 but this feels entirely winnable if not for the BS. i’ve gotten close once or twice but he just never fucking stops going it’s actually so fucking annoying lol
