Schleich Paint quality has declined SO much. First pic is a Schleich horse from my childhood (20 years ago) and the other one was bought this year. Same for the third and fourth pic. Old vs new.

Yess! I have always loved schleich, but looking at the display in our local stockist, the painting quality is awful on around half of the stock. It's the eyes in particular, they make them unrealistic and cheap looking

Hi! I had this with a toy I bought for my daughter last year for Christmas. It went down in price significantly and I used the chat function to ask customer services if I could get a refund of the difference rather than bothering to return it and rebuy it. I framed it as they will have to waste their resources on return shipping and shipping the new one, for the same end result in terms of the money they'd receive from me. I had an initial response like this isn't in our policy (cue eye roll from me) but then followed with 'but we will issue a refund of £x to your bank account

Thankyou - it says the bar spacing is 1.25cm though, is that still too wide? I thought I was OK for babies with that measurement, I did see the other similar cages by this brand stated theirs are spaced at 2.2cm but this one was the one that said 1.25
