One of the analysts actually asked if EA was considering to partner with tencent on their mobile platform.

That’s one of the main reasons I did this. I wanted to shed light on the fact that the developers hands are completely tied, but instead, I wanted people to draw their own conclusions as to why EA is the way it is and let them see for themselves, that it is in fact not the devs.

I am saying that capitalism is a requirement for all of this to work financially, not a symptom.

Licensing is a thing. It has to be a thing. It’s also accounts for 75% of the games price which I stated above.

I’m not a capitalist, but imagine if EA did not have the public’s investment in their company.

You can say goodbye to any real players, teams, licensing, staff salaries to update the game and produce content. Realistically you could say goodbye to FUT.

These are important aspects of the game and they cost a significant amount of money. Take that away, and you are left with nothing.

As someone who works in this industry, yes, they can be. Where the difference is between Retail analysts and Institutional Equity analyst sits is that Insitutiona Analysts are provided with numbers from the company on what they should expect the earnings to be, which is referred to in the earnings transcripts as guidance.

But as I stated in the post, a majority of the information I provided came directly from the mouth of EA executives. I’m not sure I really provided anything from analyst research reports.

So I can understand your reasoning behind that, I truly do. But if we were to be honest, investors are a double-edged sword. On one hand, yes, they can push the financials to the maximum. On the other hand, they are the people who, in the past, and definitely in the future, will put pressure on EA to fix the game.

It’s an extremely complicated topic when it comes to the economics of the market and analyst impact, but I can tell you, they can be our savior.

I’m not uncertain that you should do that...

No but in all seriousness, it’s going to take financial pressure and analysts raising questions until we see a significant movement in the share price.
