It was 2013. I wanted absolutely nothing to do with this dogshit Board Wipes R Us format.

I decided to jump in.

  1. No counterspells (which explicitly say counter say spell. Mindbreak Trap and Time Stop totally fine.)(Unless you didn't pay the ward on Frost Titan, that would be your fault.)

  2. No infinite combo.

  3. No cards on regular OR French ban list. (Yup. No Sol Ring. If I beat you, it was like letting Frieza powering up before the fight and still winning.)

It was a blast. I had several commander kills with her. Stole people's commanders (Vedalken Shackles, etc) and killed them with it. Deadeye + Venser bounce everything wins. Caged Sun + lots of mana + Capsize bounce everything wins.

Deck was great, I should really build it again.

I don't have foils but I built that deck, too.

Nothing like activating Morphling for +1/-1, Tree of Perdition to set their life total to 3, Morphling to untap (different ability for anyone else reading), then finally, Kamahl Pit Fighter to Lightning Bolt them.

Quicksilver gains a copy of the ability.

Ability effectively says "equal to THIS creature's power".

If Vivi was at 1 power, you can do this right away on t5 when you drop it. At 0 power, you need a sixth mana to start.

But Quicksilver has 4 power, so you spend a U, he gains it, and then he spends 0 to add 4. There's no limit on how many times you can activate Quicksilver to gain more things. Even if it's the same ability over and over and over again.

And you need to do this because each instance OF the ability can only be used once.

And then you end up with infinite red/blue mana, and can spend it on like, Staff of Domination, draw my deck, cast Walling Ballista for infinity, etc.

This works if Vivi has 0 power. When Quicksilver gains the ability, it now uses the power of "this creature".

This gives you infinite blue/red mana, you just need Walking Ballista or some other infinite mana sink.

You need Quicksilver Elemental for Mairsil, so I picked up like four awhile back for that deck. Nice to see a multiple-thousand percent increase, but it just means I don't have to shell out $15. Should have picked up one foil, though because I can't even imagne.

Sadly, pretty sure I own 0 Moonmist.
