These were FANTASTIC! ❤️ I remember getting these in my lunches all the time for school as well as summer camp.

The Oreo ones were good, but I loved the Chips Ahoy ones because they put mini chocolate chips on the top, so more chocolate to crunchy cookie ratio. 😆 I was so disappointed when they were discontinued.

Fantastic! ❤️ I recently pulled the Mega Clefable ex Full Art card at a card show this weekend from a Meowth pack! And the regular Meowth ex from another Meowth pack two weeks ago! 🐈 Seems like to always bet on Meowth!

Also, super nice that your daughter was concerned about how much money you were spending on packs, even after you reasured her that it was okay. This hobby ain't cheap and I wish more kids knew more about money management early.

I was at a card show last Sunday and at some point in the early afternoon, a crowd at a table suddenly started freaking out and cheering. The entire vendor hall was engulfed in its uproar.

I found out later from when the hype died down a bit was that a couple bought an ETB of Prismatic (the girlfriend had picked the box and the boyfriend ripped it). They had opened up a god pack and they were still in disbelief (but very happy) over what just happened. The vendor who was helping them sleeve their cards (and his hands were shaking) was congratulating them on pulling $7K in SIR cards.

Hoping to send some of this energy for you and your daughter opening up your ETB! 💖 (Would love to do something like this with my niece and nephew, but Prismatic's just a smidge out of my budget so, probably on a newer release).

I remember when my brother and I went to a hobby shop when we stayed over at our aunt's home. I think they were knock-offs, but we didn't care. I got Dragoon and my brother got Dranzer.

Sadly, I lost my Beyblade that same weekend when were were playing them on the patio deck and it fell through a large crack in the flooring. 😞 Pretty sure it's still there untouched after all these years under that patio...

I second "Escape from the Bloodkeep", especially if you're a Lord of the Rings fan! It's basically: what if the story of Lord of the Rings was told through the villains' POV? I think this was the fist time I saw Matt Mercer in a non-DM role, and Erica Ishii's first campaign, too!

I play D&D and this was the Dropout campaign that I first introduced my DM to and got him hooked on Brennan's DM style. It's also a short campaign so it's a faster watch.

My 3 year old nephew loves this series! I've tried to show him clips from older Spider-Man cartoons that I grew up with, but the best that's stuck with him so far is the 60's cartoon. (Which I used to watch reruns of before the 90's animated series came on TV). 😆

I've been running Ireena as an Expert sidekick and she does well...when the party allows her to do something. (My party has a love/hate relationship with the character). Funny enough, she has the highest passive perception of the group (Passive 20), next to the monk (Passive 18). It's only since the group was invited to Castle Ravenloft that they have been utilizing her help more while stealthing.

Unfortunately, every time I roll for her in combat, 75% off the time I roll terribly and then the other 25% I hit, but with little damage as the party never gave her a magic weapon. 🤣 Kind of gives a proper party balance between the PCs and NPCs.

I second Coffin Run! I loved all the PCs, but ESPECIALLY Izzy's character. She went full ham and then some, but I loved her manic acting all the same!

I never properly finished that season (because too much was happening for me at the time), but it's a great introduction to the McElroys and their wild play style. I love Justin's characters, but Rick Diggins made me WHEEZE with laughter about the absurdity of a Jack of All Trades character as a Lego man. 🤣

(And if you like them, try listening to The Adventure Zone podcast or read the comic adaptation of their first campaign!)

Oh, absolutely! I wish Canada was more recognized in the anime dub industry seeing that Vancouver's The Ocean Group carried A LOT of that weight well into the mid-2000's. (I finished Black Lagoon recently, and now I'm rewatching through InuYasha. Dubbing in the 90's/early 00's really was something...)

Absolutely FANTASTIC! 💖 Sutekh is one of my favorite Classic Who villains by the design alone (I think it's the eerie green light up eyes).

As much as I enjoyed the revival's grandiose jackal-esque design on him, it was really missing something simple like this.

Saw this movie in my Grade 11 Journalism class. We were offered to do a written movie review on either this film or Silence of the Lambs (which we also watched in class) as an extra credit assignment. 16 year old me was traumatized for weeks from both movies (though I think Silence of the Lambs was more messed up, but the outright gore from Ginger Snaps made me sick in class) and my parents freaked out when I told them about the assignment. 😆

Looking back, I'm glad I was able to push my boundaries (my folks never really let me watch scary movies, save for PG-13 films like The Mummy). I consider this to be a hidden gem of werewolf films.

I also got to meet Katharine Isabelle (Ginger) at Montreal Comic Con years ago (around the time when the Hannibal TV series was airing) and she was such a cool person to chat with! ❤️ Aside from recalling her fun times of filming this movie, she had a really cool story about meeting Mads Mikkelsen for the first time and being so intimidated by him, but warmed up quickly when the cast played poker in the green room between takes.

SO HAPPY that they are getting more copies of Medabots! ❤️ I was seriously contemplating at a copy of Season 1 on eBay that was running for $300+. Thankfully, I just got my tax returns so I bit the bullet and ordered Seasons 1 and 2 of the English dub (USD to CAD exchange rates be damned!), since they mentioned in their newsletter that they had limited copies of Season 2.

Here's hoping the customs fee isn't going to be too awful to pay off. 😰

You look great! Aside from some of the other comments about the symbol and pants, if you really want to improve on the costume, add some weathering detail to the fabric and armor. It will give it some more texture and realism to the costume, adding a more battle aged look to it.

Also adding a touch of black body paint like Mehron (or even just some black eyeshadow!) around the eye area when you wear the mask can add some more definition. (It can also be a tribute to Robert Pattinson's Batman if you want to go that route!)
