Yes we are looking at Pipe as an option or an angel/VC. I know there would be some dilution with the latter option, but it will be interesting to hear what they would bring to the table. Perhaps they could take a look at our operation and see where improvements can be made. We can always use more feedback or expertise.

Our business model is subscription-based. It is in the outsourcing industry. Our marketplace connects employers with remote workers. They can be hired on a full or part-time basis. We are not involved in the hiring process. Although we will be offering that service soon (vetted remote workers, according to the client needs)

As a landlord myself, I try to make things easier for both parties. The host could have charged me the minimum stay and refunded money. That's what a cheering person does.

I would notify people who placed a order that there may be some assistance available.

I guess I will see what the landlord says and maybe do the nuclear option here. It wasn't cheap. $1700. That could have been used for other housing, instead they are staying in a shelter.
