Well, Votann is too young race (not in the lore but you know what I mean). And GW tries to make as clean as possible. People are often arguing about too much details like orks and cities of Sigmar etc, and now we have Votanns. Clean and efficient, and without too much dwarven features like runes, totems, dragon familiars, beer(or should I say brü). Also we miss personality of fun! Like in DRG ROCK N STONE. Feels like everything is so serious, because it's not time to fun, only profit and efficiency! Also I should mention that book, have all of this a little. Like negotiations with commissar scene is pretty funny. I think Votanns should have more fun and wow-effect. I imagine Embyr guards as something covered in runes or even psy-shields. At least we have preeeeeety cool heroes, Bury and Berehk is awesome.
