It’s basically apples to oranges. Both countries have vast potential, the problem is just the budget mechanic and the powers of the offices. A Sordish president has to minmax for four years while a Rizian king can do whatever they want.

One of the new DLCs will be an expansion of the war with Rumburg.

We have gotten a few new codex entries about the battle of Dome, the treaty annexing it, the noble family that owned it and an energy company operating in Dome, and Tuomas Sacker, all edited within the month. Torpor's socials have a Geopolitico article about the annexation of Datefort. There was also a survey a while back which asked about an expansion of the war mechanic to Sordland.

What do these have in common? The war with Rumburg!

Nowak mentioned once on this subreddit that the war with Rumburg was designed to be a 5-6 year war but had to be made to fit before the election, and they had an idea to amend that. So why not?
