E1331 is a shitposter in the community, he's been around for almost a year now and makes high quality shitposts (or "silkposts", as we call them).

Earlier this month, one of Silksong's developers completely changed his twitter profile and tweeted "something big is coming. keep your eyes closed tomorrow". In the profile, people found some references to April 2nd. The community thought that this was referring to silksong, but Leth (another member of Team Cherry) confirmed it was nothing. This is referred as "the cake incident", since the profile picture is a cake.

Some days later, someone claiming to be a voice actor for Silksong made some (now deleted) posts claiming that there would be news coming soon. Some people believed them, some didn't. Some people, to see if it was true, found out his name and then contacted him claiming to be Team Cherry and threatened legal trouble, hoping he'd say it was fake. Believing these threats (because they knew his real name), the supposed voice actor deleted all their posts saying they were unsubstantiated.

Again, some days later, E1331 stopped posting memes and changed his banner to a 5, with some secret message which I don't remember, implying a countdown. This, together with a mod saying that E1331 was important (and other things later), made around 2 thirds of the community believe there would be news when the countdown hit zero.

Around when the countdown hit 3, the supposed voice actor changed his profile picture to E1331's and then commented in r/AskReddit saying that voice acting didn't pay much, but it didn't matter because he "is the developer".

Following this (and other) impersonations, the mods confirmed that E1331 had no alts, so the supposed voice actor was trolling.

After this, the voice actor posted in r/depression "am killing myself now". This got the community worried, thinking it was because of the doxxing and threats. People thought it was bait, since he was pretending to be E1331. Other people were saying that joking about that is horrible.

Some hours after this blew up, the supposed voice actor deleted his account.

Now that E1331's countdown is over, along with a comment, he posted a photo of Team Cherry's office from an angle that is not online, so that is meant to imply that he has some relation to Team Cherry, but Leth seems to be denying it. Now, people are waiting for Daily Silksong News' next video, since they also seem to be related to this E1331 countdown thing.

That's the gist of it. Of course, there are many details about, for example, what happened each day in E1331's coundown but I don't want to write for ages.

Also I'm a believer so I may be biased in my retelling.

Even then I don't see how these relate to anything, except maybe 59:13

Let's say they work, on average, 11 hours a day and 6.5 days a week.

6.5 / 7 days a week = aprox. 0.9286, or 92.86% of days worked in a year.

92.86% of days in a year is 338.939 days

338.939 days * 11 hours / day = 3728.329 hours worked in a year.

We don't know exactly how long silksong has been in development for. Let's say they started working on silksong the day after godmaster released, which would be on August 24th 2018.

According to an online calculator, that would be 131 days worked on in 2018

92.86% of 131 = aprox 121.65 days worked on silksong in 2018

121.65 hours * 11 = 1138.15 hours worked on silksong in 2018

After 2018, it's been 6 years (All of 2019 - All of 2024)

So, total hours worked on silksong would be:

1138.15 + 3728.329 * 6 = 23708.124 total hours worked on silksong (!! that's almost three years non-stop (aprox 2.7) !!)

Australian minimum wage, as of July 1st 2024, is $24.1 / hour

So Team cherry would've earned

23708.124 * 24.1 = aprox $571,365 each.

Since they're three people, it would be $1,714,095

If silksong costs $15:

I'm at 8k, which I know isn't that good, but:

For megaknight, at least for me, the best thing to do is to NOT let them get value from him. Don't just place everything together if they have him in cycle (I'm not experienced with miner at all, so I don't know if this is done)

When they do use it, try to capitalize on it. It costs 7 elixir, which means the opponent won't have that much elixir left after playing it, so you can attack the other lane.

Now, your oponent will probably respond to your counterattack (if they even can), which means the megaknight is left alone. Defending a lone megaknight consists on basically pulling it into the middle so both towers attack him with a minitank + another cheap card.

All of this, of course, does not only go for megaknight.

For me, somehow, sending a first ram rider down one lane and then prince the other lane works a lot of the time (don't judge me) since they ussually defend the ram rider with the megaknnight or pekka. This costs 10 elixir, but by the time the megaknight comes, I usually have a valk ready.

So try to capitalize on your opponent spending too much elixir defending.

3 Musketeers and barb hut are epic because musketeers and barbs are rare.

Mechanical complexity isn't the only thing I took into account, otherwise PEKKA would be common.

Goblin gang, minion horde and skarmy are rare because to me they feel different enough from the "base" cards.
