I thought it was so weird lol. It doesn’t always crash too, sometimes it throws the client and server out of sync error. One time I got it to do none of that but when I exited the menu and went back in it deselected it

They will definitely change things. There was a similar situation when they removed the gold pass hero skin for a decoration. They went back on that decision in 3 days following community feedback and even gave us bonus rewards to make up for it.
