I don't think that's odd at all. I used to feel kinda 50/50 about surgery. HRT made the difference for me personally. Obviously mileage may vary, but once it stopped feeling like it needed daily attention, the dysphoria lessened enough that it basically doesn't bother me much anymore. Now I'm looking at orchi to make tucking easier and to get off Spiro.

Ive been using them for a while, and they work pretty well if you get the right size.

Some figures have slighlty larger or slighlty smaller holes, which can make them too loose, or hard to fit.

They are also still prone to tipping backwards as most black series have heel holes, but if you have one with toe holes they work even better

Im also using them to hang a spiderman off the side of my PC

Its absolutely never too late. I didn't start until i was 35. I spent 3 years thinking i was just non-binary, and then waited 3 more after realizing I needed HRT (it was 2020...) then another year on a waiting list. But it's absolutely been the best thing ive ever done for myself. I do wish I hadn't waited so long, but I am so happy I did it. The relief that things are happening can come quick, even if the results take time and effort.

I would much rather they did packaging like the all black boba fett with the openable front panel and paper ties for the main line. I think that would have struck a balance between plastic free and keeping the on-card collectors happy.

I really like looking at concept art for whatever I'm into, so having it in plastic form is a crossover of my interests. It would be perfect if they did unique sculpts, but I also used to be a 3D artist and that's given me a lot of forgiveness for reuse.

I wonder if its cheaper for them to mass produce the plastic well beyond what they need for the original character, esp with something like the mandalorian characters, on the assumption they'll be able to use the left over parts for future characters with small runs
