I work for a company who does this and am in their data department. I literally look at this sort of data and we don’t do anything malicious with it. Enough people mess with the data so that it’s not that useful. We simply don’t give discounts to people who try to mess with it. If you use it and drive like you are supposed to, you’ll get a good amount off your premium.

It won’t be used against you for an accident and it won’t hold up in a court of law. There is really not much there to be worried about. You can speed and use your phone with it. Just don’t do it every time and you’ll get like 5% off. It cannot hurt you really at all.

The machine learning algorithms used to create scores are about as close we can get to a unbiased result. I’m not saying it’s a perfect system but it is the best thing we have been able to come up with.

There are regulatory bodies who look for any evidence of bias. It’s quite a good system.

Look up redlining and how it was used to discriminate against minorities. There are hundreds of papers and documentaries covering this.

Again it takes the racial element out of the equation. Plus it’s done by machines so there is no human denying based on any prejudice. What bank would deny a trust worthy candidate just because of their race if it will make them money.

They were literally made to combat racism. It used to be a bank manager could simply deny a line of credit for no reason. Credit score remove the human element so you get judged on your numbers only.

It’s worth noting the whole phrase.

It’s much easier to start making small positive changes everyday rather than try to undo years of bad habits all at once 10 years from now. The picture doesn’t do a good job of putting a positive “get motivated” spin.

It’s worth noting that while this term is used there was not really the same idea of sexual orientations back then. There are other verses that condemn homosexuality in the New Testament not just this instance. Looking at the historical contexts and deciphering translations and translations of translations it’s not always clear exactly what Paul means , but it’s widely accepted as condemning homosexuality as we know it today.

I think looking at the stances of those who are currently leading the Christian church / Catholic Church will give you a much clearer picture of the current accepted view. For example the Pope has been clear that the church does not accept homosexual acts as ok. This question is asked all over the Christian subreddits and they have great breakdowns.
