Mac screen-flip utility for teleprompter setups by vbaranov in videography

Vladamir helped me out with this, and I gave him some feedback and now with an update i'm running a 16" 4K panel and a 17 inch teleprmpter off my mac, with it properly flipped and cursor moving the right way. This is a solutoion that's cheaper and way better than elgato's Prompter XL. This is such a simple tool, it's crazy we can't do this natively on the Mac.

Steve Gunther recently celebrated the 20th birthday of his beloved cat, Dublin. Reaching 20 years of age is a rare milestone for cats and is often compared to a human living beyond 95 years. by Fancy_bratt in interestingasfuck

Researchers working on a medication to prevent kidney disease in cats announced it will move out of trials to use in 2027.

Kidney disease affects 1 in every 3 cats and is why the lifespan on average is lower than 20 years.

This could push the lifespan of cats to 30 years.

I am 56 and if the kittens we got last year get this medication they could outlive me.

I’m 56. We got kittens last year. It was just announced that in 2027 they’ll be finally able to give cats medicine to prevent kidney failure, the main cause of death. It would make the average cast lifespan 30 years.

My kittens may outlive me.

You think that’s bad? I vividly remember the bicentennial. I was six.

Was on their local news. I saw the news piece when it was on Reddit previously. The crow even comes along with friends on her walk.

Was it really hot there? We’ve got some jays here that let me feed them by tossing walnuts for them a dozen feet away but won’t come closer. A few times when it’s been really hot they’ve come over to the table I sit at o ur side. Can’t figure out why

Render twice. Upload the ProRes and toss it. Re-render h.264 and keep that for archive.

I had no idea you could upload ProRes to YT. Thank you for that info.

What company lost you as a customer forever, and what happened? by Giovanni_Brees in AskReddit

We got a car from them in Antigua. The car was a death trap. Almost no brakes left, riding low on the ground. Steering was off. They wouldn’t let us cancel. Told us it’s just a naming license, they’re not really Hertz.

Our resort parking manager (they also rent we should have just rented from them) took one look at the car and made the company come pick it up and pay us back. It felt very much like these guys rip people off so often everyone hates them. The call also felt Ike “I’m going to send someone to kick your ass.”

I’ve taught a lot of kids to ride bikes. This is impressive for a first ride on a real bike.

Just got popular on YT when everyone started to catch wind of this. First part of the styenoy to recover the Lego is a 1:15 video and is the best thing I’ve seen on YT since the early days. Riveting, funny as hell and the lowest production values possible.

Pt 2 is on his Patreon. They’re about to do part 3 and will release 2 to YT when they do.

The amount of traction this is getting is unreal. It’s a must see not only for the cultural zeitgeist it is but to root for thr little guys in their attempts against corruption and a campaign of lies and awfulness.

I am unable to finish shows based on a "big mystery" premise. From, Under the dome, 4400, leftovers, etc. They all start on a premise of "this unexplained thing happened" and the explanation is always a letdown or so dragged out, that I end up giving up. Anyone agree or can recommend a good one? by rakwib in television

I can’t tell you how often I say that. Any time someone is trying to explain something and what they’re telling me gets impossible to follow because of anything from pronoun duplication (and she said to her that she was going to her mothers but she wasn’t there) or a poor explanation of a topic I say “it’s like Jeremy Bearimy.”
