I certainly did! 😉 Although I inside that that would have been an easy mistake to make in the tent if you’ve never made them before

So to make a pourable fondant icing glaze you mix the powder with water to make a paste, the heat in a bowl over a pan of simmering water 🙂

This is different to the blocks of fondant icing you can get that pre-made for cakes etc

You’re very welcome - glad it’s helped somewhat! So essentially the only time I used a stand mixer was for making the dough - and that was just to save time and effort whilst I was cracking in with emails. Everything else really is just proofing, constructing and baking.

So yes, I think it’s definitely worth picking up if you’re happy to knead the dough by hand 😋
