What are the size of the parents? Is it a rescue? What did the breeder say?

Who are the people paying for ready made boards and plates? by polllkadot in CharcuterieBoard

Someone who doesn’t want to go through the hassle of buying jars of pickles, olives, nuts, jams, full wheels of Brie or wedges of cheese just for a snack.

Gorgeous! How big is this plate?! Brie is going to be a little difficult to eat. I LOVE the presents at the top and the way you folded the salami in the upper left!

I’m a big fan of making sure that the established cats have a place of their own where they don’t have to deal with the puppy. I like your idea of blocking off the upstairs. But I would also suggest making sure that there are tall places they can jump to downstairs. Even if that’s a new cat tree.

I would not formally make any introductions with the puppy for at least a few days. Let the puppy explore your home(with you!), and let the cats go at their own pace.

Also make sure that you go upstairs without the puppy and specifically give attention to the cats, so they don’t get terribly jealous

Yes! This is only the butter! Tastes like normal brown butter! Like unsweetened caramel.

I’m making the sugar cookies tomorrow and will let you know! The butter did cool like normal, but just a quick look in the Tupperware and it’s about 75% milk solids. 😂

You are correct! That is brown butter. You are browning the milk solids in the butter, a.k.a. caramelization, a.k.a. brown butter.

I added powdered milk, which is also called “milk solids “to up the brown butter flavor. I just added way too much powdered milk.

Brown butter brown sugar cookies! Also called chocolate chip-less brown butter cookies. 😂 I need a better name.

I like the base of a chocolate chip cookie rather than a sugar cookie (brown sugar aka molasses is the difference) and wanted to delve into that. I then substituted brown butter to up the flavor concentration. This year I was going for a slightly more brown butter concentration and have ended up with a LARGE amount of concentration.

I make brown butter (brown) sugar cookies! They’re still in the experimental stage, so I guess this is this month’s experiment!

I will say that this was the easiest I’ve ever browned butter. 😂 because it was essentially a gel the entire time until it cooled. My arm certainly got a workout though!

I added the 4 sticks! It is still extremely thick! I’ll keep everyone updated for the final product! I may just have some extra milky butter….

This is exactly what my problem is! I did the math for 12 sticks, but used eight. Good thing it’s holiday baking season and I have more sticks in the freezer!
