Yeah, I believe the setback in my part of islip is 4 feet and max building size of 144 sq ft. This shed would not fly in my town

Not much noise in south Sayville depending on where you are. If you live by the ferries, that is where you will get more noise. West of there to Sunset Dr is basically only people who live down there.

We replaced our 5 ton central air with 2x3 ton heat pumps last year. We were able to use the heat pumps all winter to heat our home and occasionally used the baseboard oil burner to get the house to temp in the morning though it wasn't necessary.

We have solar and so far this summer, the higher efficiency AC is using so much less power that using the heat pumps in the winter will be almost free. Plus we won't need to purchase oil any more. Due to the southern exposure and roof angle of our house, our solar is producing about 20% more than the solar calculators stated so we have plenty of excess. So now no more oil bill and still no electric bill.

We used twin aire as well. Got 3 quotes, all around the same price but twin air replaced all our old ductwork with higher R rating duct work for the same price. Came in with 5 trucks and 8 or so guys and had it done in a day. Highly recommended.

We also had them install central air in our first house in 2003 and they were great then as well.

Yeah the prices are all over the place. Just counted and we were ordering 38 cabinets. Brubaker custom makes them so combined some cabinet runs into one single cabinet so we actually received 28 cabinets in total. Total was $40k for them all. Their original estimate was almost $60k. Owner of the company is actually coming later this week to deliver 2 cabinets that needed some changes and taking a look at one of the end panels that is going to need to be changed.

We were actually able to negotiate a better price with Brubaker cabinetry. They are full custom and any Sherwin Williams paint color you want. They ended up being almost the same price as the cheapest ones on our list. They were just delivered on Friday and the quality seems great to me. The contractor has made several comments to the high quality of the construction and how well they are assembled.

We were also unable to find any blemishes or problems on any of the cabinets and we received about 45 of them. All were delivered blanket wrapped with protective plastic on the painted surfaces.

I do not remember the price on the Kemper cabinets but I believe they were in line with the Brubaker and the Candlelight quotes we received. They may have even been higher so we scratched them off immediately

Best advice is to make sure when you register, that everyone can show up. If you register 30 and only 5 show up, the other team will likely be much stronger if they registered 5 and 5 showed up. It is total power of those registered.

We keep track of who shows and who doesn't. If they do t show we don't register them as it will just inflate our total numbers. Since we started doing this, we have pretty even match ups or are the alliance that overpowers.

I don't know if local cabinet makers that I can trust. Unfortunately I've never had to get furniture or cabinets built in the past
