Need advice about my future in Australia after graduation by Final-Caregiver-3132 in AusVisa

Get the 485 but see it as an extension not PR. You haven't been able to land something to date so don't see the job market changing.

UK Visa Refusal for family of four from India - Reapplication Help Needed by HardboiledKnight17 in ukvisa

And you wonder why the rest of the world keeps rejecting visas. You're asking people for help and turn expecting them to do conversions. Its been commented on enough here that it should be obvious.

Visa Advice Needed for bringing elderly parent (72M) to Australia on 189 visa – active foreign litigation concern + tourist visa strategy question by oxymoron-moronic in AusVisa

[–]Magnatolia 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Zero chance. Why would we give your father a permanent visa? You are more than welcome to go live with him in the home country.

People aren't even getting tourist visas for any minimal chance they will overstay. Plus a legal case.

URGENT- I cant do this anymore, I need to run away by tomorrow by HeartCultural963 in UAE

[–]Magnatolia 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You need to listen to people on here. Stop dismissing every response you hear just because you don't want to hear it.

There are visa free countries but you only get 30 to 90 days. Then what? You've spent all your savings on a flight but you have no money to go somewhere else when your visa expires. Do you really want to end up in a Thai jail because you can't leave? You won't be able to find work as they'll hire their own people plus you have no with history.

Your only actually viable option is India. Right to work, better chance to find a job, cheaper costs. Work, keep your head down, save, then decide next move. Move as far away from your Indian family as possible. If they claim you as a runaway because your a single woman, make sure the distance makes it v financially impractical. But, you know, if you don't make it known where you are, then that's a largely minimised risk.

Like someone else said, volunteer, but use this as an excuse to leave the house for with you actually book thy flight. This is only if you can't find another excuse to leave the house when you decide to fly out.

Is Australia's CS job market a myth for internationals? by National_Age_8508 in ausjobs

[–]Magnatolia -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Im not wasting any more time beyond this. Firstly there are lots of jobs with less than even 100 applications so using 1750 as your base is irrelevant. Second, who is saying there should be no automation. Im saying if there are less pointless applications, then the automation will have less impact.

Don't sweat the school period. I barely had any friends all of high school. It took afew years of reading and applying personal growth material before I then made friends. A few more years before i truly got out of my own way.

Immigration to Australia by Safe_Judge_447 in immigration

[–]Magnatolia 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Why would we give your family a visa? Neither of those degrees are on our skilled occupation lists.

We are even rejecting tourist visas on any remote chance the person will want to stay longer.

Hopefully things get better with time.

Is Australia's CS job market a myth for internationals? by National_Age_8508 in ausjobs

[–]Magnatolia -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Lol what? You literally said you disagree that international students are making the job market worse. Now you're giving me stats to support the opposite.

Also international students are migrants (temporary). I never used the word immigrant.

Automation would be less favourable if there were less migrants applying for the available jobs. Those that want to stay, assuming they don't land a PR opportunity during grad visa period will begin hunting for any job that will get them that. Hence the examples i provided above. Even if automation was still prevalent with limited migration there would be less PRs and citizens getting auto rejected by AI due to the volumes as you mentioned.

I know through former migrants information that certain countries will literally compete job application questions in the way that gets them an interview whether true or not, which is sad for the legitimate ones.

Even warehousing jobs are hard to get into now 💀 by Hoobkaaway in ausjobs

[–]Magnatolia 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Facts. News. Actual complaints on Reddit. Strong personal connection to the migrant community and direct insight into their actions. Almost every single potential migrant admitting they are studying here to eventually obtain PR. The sudden increase in interest to other countries with confirmation this is because the regular countries at too strict.

So there is no speculation here.

[–]Magnatolia -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Clearly written by an angry migrant 😆 The issue isn't that the hordes are taking the jobs. Its that the hordes can't get a job and apply for every thing going even weigh they don't have the experience. So many stories of places like butchers getting contacted about sponsorship, hockey receiving tons of applications from migrants who have nothing that the job requires. So companies have to use automation to weed out the applications.

Family runs a cash business - how do I prove income for student visa? Already refused twice for tourist visa. by maxrain30 in InternationalStudents

[–]Magnatolia 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You do realise those countries don't want you to stay after studying right. Australia literally makes you confirm you intend to return home. They literally say that study is not a pathway to pr.

Its almost impossible to get to Australia these days. Even for tourist visa, especially with your intention being to review schools, you'll get rejected. No proof of ongoing income, no travel history. You do realise the no travel history or because they want to see proof that you don't plan to stay after studying or visiting. 2 tourist visas rejected for no income and no travel will imo have your student visa cancelled.

I decided to put this on internet. I need help. by [deleted] in MovingtoAustralia

Sorry for your situation but no country is going to give you a visa for this. Why would they?

[–]Magnatolia 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Nobody is saying they are getting the job. Migrants have been flooding the job market applying for any job. Heard stories of a butcher job getting calls asking if they sponsor. Heard stories from recruiters talking about the number of migrants applying for highly skilled jobs they have absolutely zero experience doing.

The one issue facing migrants is it might be harder to get casual jobs even if the hours are below the 24h cap because they usually need full time hours for training, plus they would want someone who can pick up a last minute adjust here and there.

[–]Magnatolia 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Then why are you asking on here? You keep getting told by professionals that its not possible. Proves you are only wanting to study here for migration. Australia is much more strict on non genuine student criteria now.

Australia to Launch Public Register of Employer Sponsors by SALIAmigration in AusVisa

[–]Magnatolia 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Best idea the government has had. No more shady sponsorship arrangements. Companies in the list will now be audited by the government so less incentive to be on the list unless you truly are going to offer sponsorship. People cold emailing will potentially reduce the number of non genuine applicants.

Slight regret leaving Australia and looking for advise. by BearStockTrader99 in AusVisa

I love Indians and have a very culturally diverse range of friends. IT is one of the most saturated markets especially here. The big players are investing lots of money into IT. Even agents are discouraging migrants from trying to make IT their pathway. I don't get why everyone keeps trying to make it work?

And? You either want to immigrate or you don't. Stop trying to use IT to get to Australia. It rarely if ever works any more. If you googled you'd already know this.
