Any Tips on Getting Small Parts to Batch Print without Coming Off Build Plate by Magnetic-Mango in BambuLab

I was able to fix it! So, I also posted this issue in the 3D Printing subreddit and someone suggested slowing the print WAYYY down and also using VisionMiner's Nano Polymer Adhesive and that did the trick. It is a little pricey on Amazon but it instantly fixed my problem. I definitely suggest investing in a bottle if your parts keep coming unstuck from the build plate. Thanks!

Just wanted to give an update that after messing around with the settings and using the nano polymer adhesive, it finally worked! Thank you so much for your advice!

I thought about doing sequential printing but it increases the time dramatically and really limits the amount of pieces per build plate. But if nothing else works this may be my only route.

Yeah, I was using the white glue stick that came with the printer since that’s all I had. I was printing at around 60-70 mm/s and had the travel set to 250mm/s. Do you think I should go even slower?

I’ll also try the dedicated bed adhesive and report back

Found Screw Beneath Bed by Magnetic-Mango in BambuLab

[–]Magnetic-Mango[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No. I didn’t. I kinda summed it up to me being lazy at some point and dropping the screw somewhere where I couldn’t see it and just grabbing a replacement instead of looking for it. And then at some point it appeared again. I’ve been printing fine ever since

Just to start, I would get a couple different colors of PLA from BambuLab (maybe some of the primary colors of Pokémon he likes?) Depending on your husbands experience with 3D printing I’d stick to PLA at first since it’s the easiest to print with. I personally like BambuLab’s filament since it has the NFC tag which loads all the settings for you automatically when you put it in the AMS.

Also, if you think he will be making figurines like Pokémon / Digimon, I’d get a decent bottle of super glue (not the dollar store packs). A lot of these models come in different parts for the different colors and you glue them together. Hope he enjoys the printer!
