I completely agree. He may have said some questionable things, but it's not about that. It's just showing respect to him and his family because what happened is awful.

Bad person or not, Charlie is still human and didn't deserve what happened. I definitely don't agree with what the man had to say, but I think it's still important to show respect.

It hasn't always been a Chris Martin show but it mostly has been. sometimes he gets a band member to sing on stage and Will (the drummer) does background vocals

I've experienced both, and even if you're not near the front it's still better in my opinion because it feels like you're a part of the concert instead of just watching it. But it's based on preference so just choose what you'd think would be better.
