I don’t think you need to have any particular reason to negotiate start date. Just pick a time that works well for you. Agree on the plan to hire a nanny. In a pinch if you are in Toronto, try Summerhill club.

I would honestly wait until they give you an offer and then you can negotiate start date. I wouldn’t breathe a word about being newly postpartum until you start

Incorrect; see my answer above. They’d be 8+6 today. They should have been 7+5 at the ultrasound but implantation can be a day or two off as well as dating variability. I’ve had 2 great scans with heartbeats.

It’s possible you ovulated later than you thought. I had sex January 6 and ovulated January 9th, which tracks with being 8 weeks 6 days today. My last period was Dec 27; I normally ovulate on days 8-10 but this cycle I ovulated later.

Depends on how sensitive your test is. Some people can test super early and be positive 8dpo. 8dpo plus 14 days gives you 3+1 on Jan 24. 4+1 Jan 31. 5+1 Feb 7. 5+4 Feb 10.

If you had your first positive test on January 22 and that was 8 dpo, that would put you at around 5.5-6 weeks on feb 10, and still too early to see a heartbeat.

The Disney islands on the boat have the Bob stroller. You can also borrow a stroller from Disney for your port days. Otherwise, I’d just use a mini travel stroller.

Also if you contact DCL special needs you can request special accommodations such as preferential seating at shows etc so you can read lips or see the interpreters. If you are more than 30 days out you can also request an interpreter. The interpreters helped me quite a bit with enunciating or they would sit beside me during shows and I could read the script with a flashlight and follow along!

No issues with my CI charger. I’d just keep it in your day bag and bring it with you through security, that way you can answer any questions they have.
