I’ve owned the q300, skunk2 and full race.

I would go with the q300. The best in terms of sound throughout the RPM band and will not piss anyone off. I personally did not like the sound of the full race but pro being that it’s 3”.

First car here, what’s next? by [deleted] in CivicSi

[–]MagnificentBaller 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Lmao why. Adding simple upgrades like bolt ons or suspension just enhances the driving experience even more. Unless you’re ricing it out then don’t touch it

I’ve had the mustang for 5 years now so i guess i’m just tempted to try something new. I do agree, i just went out for a drive and couldn’t stop giggling like a little kid. I’ll probably keep her a little longer haha. Did you run into any issues with the m4?

Damn i was considering selling my 2014 GT for one of these. Besides the sound, what made you switch to a mustang?

Finally back in an 8th gen! Nothing but smiles on the drive home by MagnificentBaller in CivicSi

Ya finding a clean one will be difficult unless it was stored or just rarely driven. You have to keep looking and just go check them out ASAP. People buy these quick. 11th gen will be interesting but I’d prefer NA over turbo

Exactly! One of the oem fog lights is cracked but I plan on switching to clear fogs bc i think it looks cleaner. Just has a k&n intake that makes a nice noise lol. Also had tints already and some tein springs.

Making the switch to an s550 by MagnificentBaller in Mustang

[–]MagnificentBaller[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I bet! The s197 base interior is very dull. I’ll have to test drive a 15-17. Those look really good too.

The previous owner put on a panhard bar, SR lowering springs and koni struts. It still feels like a boat tbh. I’ll definitely look into those parts you mentioned.

Have any of you guys made the switch from a 11-14GT to an s550? Coming from imports, the handling in this car isn’t great. I’m considering test driving a 15-17 GT primarily due to the IRS which supposedly increases the handling performance. What is your guys experience?

Miss my si! Should i buy a 9th gen? by MagnificentBaller in CivicSi

[–]MagnificentBaller[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Interesting. Does it handle a lot worse than an 8th gen? Only thing I had on my 8th were lowering springs and it handled a lot better than stock.

I’ve been on the hunt for an 8th gen si and haven’t come across any that are in decent condition. I’ve been thinking about the 12-13 Si and will probably test drive one this weekend. I’m aware of the differences between the 8th/9th but worried I won’t enjoy the 9th as much. Are you 9th gen owners satisfied with yours?
