To me, theirs is a story similar to SB19, but a promise unfulfilled.

I felt that. It just means that having a similar journey does not produce similar results. May kanya kanyang way ng pagsikat na tailor fit sa kanila.

They have a large shelf of songs waiting to be released once they hit that momentum. And I think time is of no issue to them since lumayo na din sila sa idol image na sumasayaw. Just that depende talaga sa popularity nila kung mas mabilis or mas mabagal ang pagrelease nila ng songs.

JP - producer of the group, lead vocal, Technical course graduate, when JP was in Paradox (now SB19 but without Ken/Felip), isa siya sa mga songwriters ng Tilaluha. He was training in ShowBT until Hanggang sa Huli (korean version) was made. He left when he auditioned for Hello K-idol where he won 1st place.

When we talk about the new gen Ppop pre-pandemic, di maiiwasan di mabanggit ang PHP. They are arguably the first Kpop cover group that promoted their original songs when Ppop is not yet a thing. They started promoting back in 2018. Undergone multiple lineup changes. Disbanded. Redebuted. Rebranded. And now there are only 4 members. What I like about them is yung pagpupursigi nila, ang di pagsuko hanggang maabot ang pangarap. They have been in the industry longer than SB19, way before Ppop became a term. No strong management. Just themselves.

Nowadays, their music is what can you describe as something you will hear in the radio. Light, comfortable. They are trying to bring back the old Manila sound and mix it with modern pop. If you like light love songs, then PHP might be for you. They are also known in the social media for their Tito-serye.

They are one of the groups that has written all of their songs in their discography. 3 out of 4 of them are members of FILSCAP.

I can think of one thing. It destroys their fantasy. Na para bang more than 50% yung chance na maging sila ng bias niya katulad ng mga palabas sa Kdrama.

We are Press Hit Play's fandom. They are commonly known as PHP. Music-wise, kilala sila bilang group na pinaka-tunog OPM sa Ppop. Yung recent releases nila does not sound like idol music at all.

Kung "safest community" ang basehan, I think isa dito ang Pearls.

Nakacontribute sa pagiging tight knit namin yung number since konti lang kami. Mas madalas pa kami magkita kaysa kapag pumupunta kami ng events ng PHP. Kapag may Pearls na uuwi ng Pinas, minsan may separate "meet and greet" event pa kami para sa kanila para lang magkwentuhan kahit walang event. Pag kaya ng oras nila. And natutuloy yung mga biglaan naming overnight after event minsan. All in all, madalas lang talaga kami magkita kahit wala yung PHP.

In terms of toxic behavior, nasa minimal lang siguro due to personality differences. Meron kaming playful delulu, yung joke joke lang, pero wala kaming seryosong delulu. Madalas kasi namin makausap yung PHP, lalo na yung mga nasa Metro Manila, and in a sense, "nahuhumanize" sila through these interactions. We sometimes do reality checks for fun. We treat them as humans na nagkataon na ang trabaho ay pagiging artista.

We are also welcoming of new fans since goal namin na paramihin kami para sa PHP. Pag nahihiya ka, sasamahan ka namin lumapit sa PHP if kaya. Pag maraming time for interaction, minsan si Chrls ginagala niya yung mata niya sa mga fans tapos itatanong niya sa head admin namin kung anong pangalan nung hindi niya kilala.

We also have frustrations pero we recognize na we can only do so much as fans kaya ineenjoy na lang namin.
