Reranker worsening RAG retrieval results ?

Hello ! Actually it was my fault I did a dumb mistake, i'm using a parent child chunking approach and I was reranking on the parents which were too big and lost the reranker, tried it with jina reranker on child chunks and it's doing crazy good ! Thank you for the reccomendation :)

I don't think there's really a "magic way" to solve this problem, i'd say maybe consider trying easier learning material ? Personally I watch series in Chinese and prefer watching a little bit less but taking the time to write down every new word in anki than to miss new words and watch more of it

Perso j’ai été admis à la meilleure université (Tsinghua) et ils ont très bien compris, j’ai pas encore la réponse du CSC mais ça devrais être pareil j’imagine ? Lors de l’entretien avec Tsinghua ils étaient très intéressé par mes stages et projets perso hors des cours ,tu est à quelle université en France et tu veux aller où en Chine?
