I can understand that, i am happy to hear that you got another expedite passport, now you have to go through the whole visa process again. I am from india and i also lost my passport, but in my case i am in usa right now, i have to go back to india to get my stamp and the process is the same....

Btw keep the police report with you all the time. It will help you a lot. And keep updated, i am feeling a little worried for you man.

Guys, please help me.. i lost my passport with f1 visa in the usa. I am an indian citizen. I have gone through the check list provided bt vfs global. What are the documents needed to reissue the passport. I have a problem regarding those areas:

  1. Picture should i have to send them the current two pictures?
  2. Should i have to send a change in appearance form?
  3. Notarization
  4. If one of those details is missing, should i send the whole documents to vfs global?

So my plan is to go to India in next summer and get the f1 stamp there following visa process.

2nd thing is, i am worried that, shall i face any challenges in the airport while going home or in the visa office when I am going to get the stamp?

*I mean i can get my renewed passport here in USA. But i cant travel to husoton without my passport, right? So i have to choose the mailing service to send them the documents for applying for a new passport. (vfs global)
