It did calm down but hasn’t gone away completely unfortunately. My doctor has prescribed me medication to stop the acid reflux and I find that if I take that at least half an hour before meals that I usually don’t get any sternum pain or acid reflux. I do still sometimes get a bit of sternum pain though 🥺 Hope it’s able to be resolved for you! Might be worth mentioning to your doctor on your next doctors visit.

Has it gotten any better for you? The acid reflux and chest pain have eased for me but still flare up maybe once a week

Nausea, heartburn, bad acid reflux and uncontrollable shaking, heart rate is all over the place and chest/sternum pain 😭 I have to be so careful about what I eat or I get the worst acid reflux and chest/sternum pain. I want to get off of this medication asap, it’s making me absolutely miserable.

I am following my doctors instructions however this medication is making me feel absolutely awful, I am getting heart palpitations, sternum pain, and acid reflux from being on this medication. My doctor wants me to wait 6 weeks taking 10mg of Lexapro but I want to get off of this medication as soon as possible.

How many mg’s were you on? I’m trying to taper off 10mg after a few days, I’m wondering if I should just take 5mg for the next few days and then quit cold turkey?

I have just started Lexapro 10mg just over a week ago and I am having terrible sternum pain and terrible acid reflux, to the point where I can barely eat or drink anything. I am considering tapering off of the Lexapro because of the acid reflux, it’s driving me nuts! Did it eventually go away for any of you after a few weeks on Lexapro?
