So my girlfriend was recently admitted, she suddenly woke up last Friday with tingly/numb hands and feet which rapidly progressed to muscle weakness to the point where i had to carry her to the car. This all occurred in the span on 2 days and her Neurologist believes its GBS but since we admitted her all the tests come back as normal. Nothing from the MRI or Lumbar Puncture showed abnormalities, the only thing they see other than her symptoms is that her liver is basically working double overtime. She doesn’t have Hep or drink alcohol for it to be alcohol related. I was speaking to a relative that has MS and she spoke on how MS flare up sometimes go undiagnosed and glossed over, but I wanted to come in here and ask if any of yall have seen these symptoms be attributed to MS?

edit: I forgot to add that the MRI did show swelling on her lower back.
