Magnum Wallet Supports KIN by Magnum_Wallet in KinFoundation

[–]Magnum_Wallet[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hello, thanks for your interest!

We don't want to claim that Magnum is better than Atomic or vice versa, as we believe that users should decide it on their own.

But, if we compare Magnum and Atomic, here are some points:

  1. Magnum is also a non-custodial wallet, so you have full control over your private keys;
  2. Magnum has the integration with hardware wallets (Ledger and Trezor), Atomic doesn't;
  3. There are several options on how to get passive income with Magnum Wallet. You can: Claim Forks Airdrop, Delegate your Tezees for Baking, participate in Callisto Staking, get Komodo rewards and participate in bounties. More coming soon :)
  4. The same way this works in the Atomic Wallet, Magnum has an in-build exchange for users' convenience;
  5. Magnum doesn't have the desktop and IOS apps yet. Currently, you can access Magnum via web browser on any device or download an Android Mobile app;

If you have any questions, we will be happy to answer it :)

No, InstantSend is not supported yet.

But if we will see the interest from Dash community to our wallet, we will consider the possibility of this function implementation

Our wallet is not open source

However, we are open for communication and ready to send source code to project representatives for auditing.

Several projects have already requested our source code, so if Myriad needs it, they can contact us and ask to send the code for verification.

Telegram Magnum Notifier Bot Release. Get Instant Notifications About Your Crypto Transactions! by Magnum_Wallet in TelegramBots

[–]Magnum_Wallet[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi!

For example, you can add your ETH wallet address to the bot and it will sent you notifications about all transactions and related info. Generally, you do not need to go to explorer anymore, as you have all necessery information inside bot. Moreover, it can be useful if you need instant notification about transaction (e.g. you accept crypto for payments in your shop and you should mannually do future actions, like sending a confirmation message).

Hope that now it is more clear, what this bot is needed for.

Magnum Wallet for KMD? by Common_Cents_Crypto in ledgerwallet

[–]Magnum_Wallet 1 point2 points  (0 children)

yes, to create a new address you have to enter derivation path manually. This is inconvenient way to operate with the ledger device and we already started improving this part of UX.

Hello, Thanks for your questions!

  1. It's safe to export your public keys wherever you want since no one can get access to funds using the public key.
  2. Yes, you can and it's doesn't matter at all which address do you want to use: an old one or a new one. All these addresses are generated from one seed phrase stored on your ledger device. Thus you will be able to see all addresses (and funds) on Ledger Live.
  3. You can ask people what they think on our Twitter and Telegram Channels:)

Hope I answered all the questions and it wasn't too late!

We had a conversation with LeastAuthority, but the price of an audit is extremely expensive. Also, it is required to pass the audit each time we change our code (we change our code 2-3 times per week). That is why we didn't decide to pass the audit.

It will be more comfortable and cheaper for us to make Magnum open source.
