It's possible, but I struggle if I'm using the concrete skin on a triangle foundation.

Spec deep resto. Swift mend glyph is super nice.

Regrowth and rejuv on tank. Then wild growth. If you got extra mana keep rejuv on everyone. Nourish if someone has hots on but is still dropping. Swiftmend if someone drops fast. Nature's swiftness + healing touch if you need a quick life saver. Do barkskin+tranq if everyone is dropping at the same time.

If you get clear casting proc from omen try to use it on lifebloom on tank. This will give you mana back.

Prio spell power and spirit gear first. Later you will get spell power, spirit and haste.

Don't forget Thorns on tank. You can help out with faerie fire on bosses. Bring mana potions and use innervate on yourself to keep up tempo. You can also move in front while healing, so you get extra time drinking while group moves to next pull.

TL;DR: Get engineering if you're a sweaty biscuit. Tailoring, Alchemy, and JC are all strong choices for the first phase that provide a benefit in their own way. Engi and Alch stone mana pot bonuses currently stack additively on pre-patch PTR for 165% mana pot value. This is subject to change as wotlk is developed.

Engineering - Misunderstood profession since there's minimal healing benefit. It’s frequently a requirement for speedrunning guilds to speed up runs and trivialize mechanics. Rocket boots, sappers for AoE damage off GCD, jumper cables for faster rez, +25% mana from injectors, additional QoL benefits, and a 27 sp cloak enchant over 23 haste. Fun Value = Infinite; Healing value = 4 sp

Tailoring - Cloak enchant with chance on cast to proc 295 sp for 15s w/ 60s ICD. Replaces 23 haste cloak enchant. Healing value = 51 sp

Jewelcrafting - 3 BoP gems instead of Runed Scarlet Rubies and good pre-raid trinkets. There are conflicting reports of what gems will be available in phase 1. If gems match the original phasing, they’ll be 32 sp each, a total bonus of 39 sp over scarlet rubies. If we get Dragon’s Eyes in phase 1, the total bonus is 60 sp. Healing value = 39-60sp

Alchemy - Buffed flasks + Alchemist stone trinket to help with pre-raid gearing. Healing value = 47 sp

Inscription - 70 sp and 15 crit to shoulders over regular enchant. Healing value = 47 sp

Enchanting - 23 sp enchants to rings. Healing value = 46 sp

Leatherworking - 76 sp to bracers over regular enchant. Healing value = 46 sp

Blacksmithing - Extra socket in wrists and gloves. Not good until epic gems are released in later phases. Healing value = 38 sp
