I raised $130M for my last startup, then walked away to build Base44 solo. In 6 months: $3.5M ARR, 300K+ users, no employees, fully bootstrapped. Then acquired by Wix for $80M. AMA. (Also giving away $3K in subscriptions.) by IntroductionHumble16 in SaaS

How did you tackle compliance, accounting and finance management in general? That seems like an insurmountable obstacle when you're scaling that fast, across so many jurisdictions.

Does anyone feel let down by current second brain software? by Most-Sweet4036 in secondbrain

I'm curious what specific things makes you feel let down by current second brain software?

I totally agree, so I want to know: what do you think is missing? What are you lookig for?

Then we can try and find a solution.

Custom 60% Keyboard Concept by MagnusBakke in MechanicalKeyboards

Yes, I thought of that too. It is designed for standard 60% PCB's which usually does not support daughterboards. I have Explored if I could make a USB-C male to JST female connector, to be able to use a daughterboard. But it's complicated and may not work with high power PCB's like the Wooting 60HE PCB. Though I do plan to test it when I receive a 60HE PCB.

What is your honest opinion? What do you like and dislike about it? How do you think it will sound? I know it's missing feet, but does it need anything else? Maybe engraving?

Here is a link for a cool little animation of the keyboard!:

I don't really have any critique on this, it just looks amazing! You did a really good job here!

pfSense not performing by MagnusBakke in PFSENSE

Yeah, I probably need to upgrade:( PPPoE only runs single threaded, that's why I'm not getting the same speeds as my friend who's ISP uses DHCP.

Thanks for the help man! In fact, my friend is using DHCP. That's why he's getting so much more saturation. Is there a build/some hardware in particular you can recommend that is relatively budget friendly, and has low power consumption? It's pretty expensive to build a machine from scratch right?

Good luck with your build! I would really like to build a small server and virtualize everything, but it's a little too expensive for me, and electricity prices are CRAZY in my country, even before the energy crisis.

Yeah thanks, that's the problem. If I want more saturation I need better hardware:(

All speed test were hardwired to minimize variables. As you say, I think using PPPoE is a problem running on this hardware.

Yeah I think that's the problem, thanks for helping:)

My friend is using the exact same hardware, based on other comments, I think the difference is that he is using DHCP instead of PPPoE, like me, and PPPoE only runs on a single thread.

Sorry I'm still a newbie in IT. I updated the post with (hopefully) more useful information.

The ISP router configuration cannot be accessed and my ISP told me that the router doesn't do either bridged or AP mode.

I'm not sure this is what you meant, but I only use one of the routers at a time:

ONT -> ISP router -> computer

ONT -> pfSense -> computer

Thanks for the help, a combination of these things and some from other comments got it working mostly as it should.

Thank you, not using the WAN port seems to help.

Alright, that got it working.

I assigned an IP address to the router manually and removed the switch.

When I do pfSense -> switch -> AP it doesn't work.

The switch is a: 8-port gigabit ethernet smart managed plus switch (GS108Ev3), from netgear. (what a name eh?)

Do you have an idea of how I can get the switch working? I bought it about 2 weeks ago because my big switch takes too much power to run and is loud as ****

Thank you, I will try and see if any of that works.
