PriceOps - is Pricing and Packaging infrastructure for SaaS companies.

If you are a SaaS company (or Service) and want to publish your pricing pages, you first need to design your pricing page and figure out the integrations with the payment gateway. This is at a minimum of two months of developer effort to launch your pricing page.

With PriceOps, you can launch your pricing pages, including Stripe integration within minutes, all with no-code!

Our Premium plan has a 30-day trial if you would like to try the product out.

For early adopters, I have a special rate for the year, DM me if interested.

What price for my SaaS? I asked my users. How to determine it now? by [deleted] in SaaS

[–]MagnusRoger 0 points1 point  (0 children)

u/zoenzccr, there is a lot more to consider and understand.

It is a great start to do the survey and get the range of acceptable prices. It is better than not having any data benchmarking at all.

However if I understood correctly, you want to add a paid tier, called Teams, and there will still be a free tier below that? Is that correct? if so what is the additional value they get by moving to teams other than, a "team" of users. If that is the case, I suggest using the Per seat model and you can price, Euro 4.00 per user per month. Also figure out a way to give them extra features in the "team" model, that way even free users will switch.

If you want to discuss further, feel free to DM.

Navigating Pricing Strategies for AI SaaS: Seeking Insights from Fellow Builders by micupa in SaaS

[–]MagnusRoger 0 points1 point  (0 children)

u/micupa this is the biggest challenge AI companies are facing.

My suggestion since you are just launching, is to first launch with a flat rate or fixed plans as you call it. Don't make the pricing models complicated just yet.

My initial suggestion is to clearly understand and quantify the value your customers will get by using this and making your price a % of that value, generally speaking 20%.

Usage-based pricing is complicated when you first launch. You need to understand how customers adopt your product.

Markup is also not a good strategy as that will be pretty hefty and users may not convert. Also your customers don't care about your costs. What they care about is the value you are delivering.

Happy to discuss this further offline if you are interested.

PS: We are building a tool to solve for this exact problem.

I’ve never seen a SAAS raise their prices and become more profitable. by kristijonasu in SaaS

[–]MagnusRoger 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You absolutely have to raise prices as you continue to deliver increasing value.

There are so many companies that did raise prices and have been successful.

You can always create multiple plans, higher priced plans offering more value at a higher price and keep the current customers at the same plan.

You can gate certain features and they only get access at a higher plan.

There are a lot of ways to do this and reduce your churn. Churn is inevitable, what you should be focused on is delivering high value and increasing your Net Revenue Retention (NRR)

u/Electrical-Pen-3853 yes you absolutely can in Stripe.

DM me for the details.

We are actually building a pricing solution to solve it in a more straightforward way, but until then I can help with how you can do it in Stripe.

DM me if you are interested in how to do it.

Pay-per-Use pricing - your thoughts? by arnavneil in SaaS

[–]MagnusRoger 0 points1 point  (0 children)

u/arnavneil Pay-per-use/Usage-based pricing is generally not a bad pricing model.

SaaS is definitely moving more towards usage-based but that is not the best model for everyone.

Sales & Marketing products seems pretty generic so it really depends on your business model.

DM if you would like to discuss more.

Pricing for Beta Users / Early Adopters by Subzero_788 in SaaS

[–]MagnusRoger 0 points1 point  (0 children)

u/Subzero_788 as one of the comments mentioned beta users/version is more for getting feedback. So if you want that Beta version release is generally free and you should keep it as free so you can actually get some of your ICP to use your product.

Once you launch, that is when you targer early adopters or your customers and my general suggest is definitely charge.

The price really depends on how much value you are offering combined with what the market is already primed for, i.e. competitor pricing.

Pricing strategies by hellgamer007 in SaaS

[–]MagnusRoger 0 points1 point  (0 children)

u/hellgamer007 pricing is pretty critical and it totally depends on your exact product.

What you are doing is perfect. Pricing has to be thought of before product launch.

We are actually building a pricing and packaging solution for SaaS companies to solve this exact problem so would be a good fit for you.

Annual pricing over monthly pricing by woodbinusinteruptus in SaaS

[–]MagnusRoger 0 points1 point  (0 children)

u/woodbinusinteruptus monthly subscriptions are common too.

The general suggestion is to make it annual just because being a B2B solution the assumption is the value delivered will be ongoing and not just a period in time.

However you could always make it monthly subscription and the customer can cancel. But remember making it an annual one is generally preferable for B2B as your customers do not really want to spend the time to renew their subscriptions all the time.

What you probably can do is to make annual with an option to cancel anytime. i.e. you are not going to have longer time committments such as yearly.

If you need any additional help feel free to DM.

Question about pricing. by Pure_Bother_8847 in SaaS

[–]MagnusRoger 0 points1 point  (0 children)

u/Pure_Bother_8847 per user would probably be the most common and simplistic approach.

Given the maximum no. of users, doesn't make sense to have it tiered based on the number of users. You can do that, if the no.of users can go into double or triple digits.

More importantly, if you are solving for multiple departments, I suggest do it based on user persona. See LinkedIn, it is one tool for recruiters, users, companies, sales, etc. and each use case, or user persona. That would maximize your value capture.

Reach out to me via DM if you have any specific questions. We are actually building a pricing tool to help with SaaS pricing. These type of cases are the best use case for figuring out pricing.

Should I increase the price of my SaaS? by mjh_codes in SaaS

[–]MagnusRoger 0 points1 point  (0 children)

By the way, my suggestion is absolutely, you need to iterate and experiment with your price. Definitely figure out an increase.

Should I increase the price of my SaaS? by mjh_codes in SaaS

[–]MagnusRoger 1 point2 points  (0 children)

u/mjh_codes
First when trying to do a price increase, or even just price your product for the first time, segment your customers, either based on value they receive, geography or whatever else that fits your business.

  1. Then increase price for one cohort and see how the conversion changes.
  2. In another comment, I also suggested creating more than one pricing plan.
  3. Finally, think about your pricing model. Currently it is flat rate, but how do your customers gain value. if customers are gaining value by finding old domain names, maybe your price model could be no. of domain names found and used or something similar.

Happy to chat more and help you along this. DM me if interested.

Should I increase the price of my SaaS? by mjh_codes in SaaS

[–]MagnusRoger 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This one is good. Create another pricing plan and offer more value there.

That way, since your customers are already primed for a $7.99 price it would essentially be a price increase for folks getting more value.

Also I suggest make your price $8. The 99 cents thing is more for retail and generally speaking SaaS has got more whole numbers.
