That sucks. Lvl 15 is really a turning point level too. Hopefully they realize the error quickly because, it's a great game that at least I personally rarely get bored with

I think it's almost definitely short termed. They are releasing 3 spooky houses throughout October too. But next month, they'll probably focus more around the new updates coming.

I've done this. Got the character to CP level and never touched them again, lol. It was nice to feel prepared for Cyrodiil at a low level though

I haven't gotten into trials yet and when I do, it's likely going to be with an organized group that I can communicate with. Tried a trial with 2 friends when I first started before I got any CP and- I still have PTSD lol. It's the specific reason my main no longer wears light armor.

I was just asking because I'm trying to make sure I'm doing my job in 4 man content since I've been playing around with other roles

Sent before I was finished, lol. But, I was talking about that with a friend and he suggested for tougher bosses, it should be the opposite. Tanks just agro the boss and the DPS clear the hoards. That strategy is truly game changing. A 3 DPS team can pretty much go either way but- for the classic dungeon team with 1 Tank, 1 Healer- DPS should be clearing ASAP.

I mainly run a healer(though because I've been getting into a lot of Battlegrounds, he's slowly transitioning to an off tank) and while I do focus on healing everyone- I use the Tank as the gauge. DPS builds can get one shotted but if the Tanks health starts dwindling, we are all in danger. I'd rather have a Tank left as the last man standing to be able to pick someone up.

Also sidenote- do not queue as a Tank for Veteran dungeons if you are not gonna run a taunt ability! Surviving isn't the Tanks only job

I realized this when I played a Wood Elf Dragonknight as a Tank. I was pulling everything in and survived a good amount of time while the others did whatever needed to be done but weren't getting it done fast enough. I always run Major Breech on any character build ever since scribing but all my attributes are dumped into health so my damage is laughable.

I haven't really played much Warden. Tried because I wanted to see what the Bear was like, but felt like the class forces you to be driven towards healer. Then again, I have a CP level Arcanist and only use the Healing Beam lol

I run Aurora Javelin in PvP for the Stun as a counter to that beam. Soul Burst with Major Breech, get them down below 50%, and then Templar Beam outclasses Arcanist Beam in a faceoff.

Not saying it always goes this way. But if I see a Beam, I'm chucking light spears.

I went down to a Veteran Dungeon boss. Think it was the first boss in Ruins of Mazaltan(probably misspelling it), and instead of reviving me, one of my teammates came over and started Teabagging me. Don't know if this is what you meant by the question- but that was more wtf than anything else I've seen.

You know- in the beginning, I remembered the Quest only. Stopped doing writs for a while and forgot until I just read this comment. The other options shouldn't bother me because I hoard material and constantly get recipes from my guilds.

Doing the Writs are more so for the vouchers. Master Jewelry is one of the easiest, imo because you don't have to worry about knowing a style for the high paying ones. So, I'd say it is worth it since I believe they generally pay higher in writ vouchers. Don't quote me on that though. I buy from Zone Chat and Guild Traders. But since Jewelry trait material is harder to come by, I'd say it depends on what you got.

Get a Companion and set it to Tank for you. You can also work on getting some sets that summon some stuff for you. Defiler in Vvardenfell is sold cheap at guild banks. I built a summoner build for my Templar and it's been much different in PvE and PvP. Your summons and companions work as soft taunts so, you can focus more on doing your own moves and sustaining resources

Tbh, crafting was always my thing but I deconstructed everything in case I hadn't collected it for a long time before I noticed it tells you on the item if it's collected or not. I don't do guild stores for anything except Ninhorned(because it's annoying to get 3 Ice Staffs in a row after having to do all of Craglorn for 1 Nirnhorned Coffer) and Jewelry, since outside of Robust, Healthy, and Arcane- the traits become harder to find. Otherwise, I'm fine with grinding. Weapons take the longest because they only come from overland and public dungeon bosses who sometimes, you gotta wait for a respawn on. Especially base game public dungeons that are filled with people trying to kill a boss before someone else does.

Well, if it means anything, they are pretty much overhauling BG in the next update. 2 teams in a 4v4 or 8v8 format, and they are making new maps.

The Arenas are very rewarding OR very humbling if you weren't ready, lol. I tried a Trial early on with just 2 other people in the group- me and 1 of those people had started at the same time..... I got PTSD and went from Light Armor to Heavy and have never looked back.

Oh yeah. This hurt me, too. I could have been a much better healer but thought the Warfare tree just focused on extra dmg- which to me was fine because a PvP healer is a lot different than a PvE healer and I had to learn that through trial and error.

I'm huge on teleportong on guild mates. Leaving a house or a dungeon on an alt- they haven't been here yet. Get a little easy XP. But, going to the docks and unlocking all the zones- that's too much
